Title: 1000 arabian nights
Post by: Anonymous on June 18, 2008, 03:44:14 AM
Anyone ever get the feeling that there is more to these stories, then meets the eyes.

When I think about the Djinn I think it fits perfect for our criminal jews or Jackals as I like to call them.

QuoteQ: Can djinn change form and appearance?

A: The djinn have the capacity to take many forms and to change appearance. According to the Imam Ibn Taymiya, they can take a human or animal, form such as a cow, a scorpion, a snake, a bird.... The black dog is the devil of the dogs and the djinn often appear in this form. They can also appear in the form of a black cat.

When a djinn takes a human or animal form, it obeys the physical laws of this form; for example, it will be possible to see it or to kill it with a gunshot or to wound it with a knife. For this reason, djinn remain in these forms for only a short time because they are vulnerable. In fact, they benefit from their invisibility to frighten people.

This seems to fit with the name changers  - such as how New York Jews Became Russian Bolsheviks.

Just a thought.

Indeed. Alot of Hadiths contain a hocus pocus element contradictory to the Quran

The Noble Qur'an - Ar-Rahmaan 55:15, 15

He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

I't not the Jinns being created from smokeless flame that I take issue with, rather the Shape shifting, taking human or animal form, Especially the demonization of dogs which is prevalent in the Hadith books (The Sunni ones anyway, Bukhari, etc.) Many Muslims regard dogs as Najis because of these hadiths. The two times that dogs are mentioned in the Quran(that I know of) is Ahlul kahf having their dogs with them in the cave, and the aya where it is stated that what dogs hunt is Halal for us to eat (which imo negates the Najis attitude many Muslims have regarding dogs)

I should add that I was raised a Sunni, and no longer regard myself as such because I see the Sunni books (Bukhari, Muslim, etc.) as contradictory to the teachings of the Quran
