One word, GOLD.
Gold is only valuable because those who have the vast majority of it in their possession say that it is valuable. In reality, gold has a strictly limited number of practical uses. Indeed, its main use being as a metallic version of the promissory note.
But you must admit its universal appeal and ability to be quickly liquidated into whatever local currency, even in countries with totalitarian regimes, like the U.S.A.. Can one name a better holder of wealth that can be so easily hidden upon one's person? Diamonds do not count because they are much easier bought at retail then sold at spot.
It's all a scam. I personally would only opt for Silver or some other metal they don't have so much of. The silver available isn't as much in their hands as the gold is, as far as I perceive things. Gold is not the solution to our problems that's for sure (as far as I'm concerned), as I don't want another system they control with them owning most of metal chosen.
"They" own nearly all the gold, too. A fiat currency not based on debt creation, in which the supply of money is regulated, would work best. But we're headed straight toward a feudal system with no cash and hyper control over all resources and commodities, so not just sound money but any money we'd be familiar with sounds like a dream.
In times like these physical assets have always prevailed....land, houses, metals....just use these and forget about paper money. I've been focusing on buying land lately, as for Argentina yes it was what I was going for a few months ago but the price for it shot through the roof and I couldn't afford it any longer. So I'm opting for other places where land is still relatively cheap.
Always remember to buy LAND it has value and uses and its their aim to take as much land as possible. Even look at that shitty little country their opium is land, so protect your land if you have it don't sell it but use it.

Yup, while Gold was going up a few months ago, they were making Silver drop... but NO ONE wanted to sell any!!! LOL. People weren't falling for the trick.
