These talking heads are spewing ridiculous propaganda. "There is no debate, the issue is closed", nothing wrong with mega mergers super monopolies, move along folks!
My problem with foreign ownership is the money does not STAY in Canada and the policy is not made on the basis of what is good for the country. If I was PM, I would abolish Corporations, they act as virtual "persons" with their own liability that are all about making money and making money for investors and stock holders. Companies are what we need, companies that are owned by Canadians!

And yes, ignorance never ends, all you can hope for is to learn more. Someone may think they know more than someone else, and they may, so they know more and the other is ignorant, but the other may know more about something else so you are ignorant compared to them in that area. So we all are on a quest for knowledge or wisdom and we can all learn from eachother. Being ignorant is nothing to be ashamed of, if you don't think you have ignorance in you, you are living in denial.
