There are a lot more Jews in the United States than you realize
The number commonly tossed around for the percent of Jews in the United State is 2%. Indeed, when I used the RELIG variable in the GSS for the survey years 2000-2008, 1.9% of respondents said they were Jewish. However, the RELIG16 variable, which asks in what religion the respondent was raised, 2.1% were raised Jewish.
Yes, when we count the number of Jewish people, we are counting the number of people who say that Judaism is their religion. <:^0
However, the way that White Nationalists look at Jews, as a race and not a religion, there are actually a lot more Jews in the United States. Approximately 40% of Jews marry non-Jews, and in those cases, the children are raised Jewish only one-third of the time (see this NY Times article). Furthermore, a much larger percentage of people with Jewish ancestry report not having any religion at all. Thus, the number of people in the United States with some Jewish ancestry is a lot greater than 2%, probably more like 4%, which would be more like 5% of the country's white population.
Consequently, a lot of misleading statistics are thrown around, like "Jews are X% of Hollywood but only 2% of the population," but Hollywood Jews are being counted based on a one-drop rule and not by actually asking these people what there religions preference is. Whatever the statistic is, it's not as weird if you change the numbers to "Jews are X% of Hollywood but only 5% of the white population." With Jewish IQ being approximately 115, compared to only 100 for gentile whites, it's hardly surprising then that a lot more than 5% of the people working in elite industries have some Jewish ancestry.

According to this article, an estimated 10 million Americans are eligible to emigrate to Israel based on the rules that anyone with a Jewish mother is Jewish. This means that of the approximately 200 million non-Hispanic whites in America, 5% are Jewish under the Israeli rules for the right of return. Furthermore, because the right of return excludes people whose Jewish ancestry is patrilineal, probably more like 7% to 8% of white Americans have Jewish ancestry.

I've been further informed that Israel's right of return law has been modified to be somewhat more liberal than the traditional Orthodox definition of Jewishness, so that people with a Jewish father or grandfather would qualify if they consider themselves to be Jewish.
