This is another Israeli trick apparently, which most people will have watched i reckon, but i post it for the anyone who may not have.

Another interesting one that i spotted just a few weeks ago, was the age of the Star of David. I always thought that it was created by the Zionists in the late 1800's early 1900's. (Yes i know, i am thick)
Then i read somewhere that it could literally have been around at the time of King David himself. Around 1010 and 970 B.C.E according to the Jewish Virtual Library.
But in actual fact it dates back to around 5000 years ago and possibly even further than that. I was looking at Sumerian cylinder seals on the net somewhere. I tried to breakdown all of the individual marks or pictures on the seal and try to make some kind of sense out of them when i spotted something in the top left hand corner of one of them, it looked like the star of David but it looked like it was out of alignment with the upward pointing arrow pointing to number one if we look at it as a clock face.
The picture was not very clear so i pushed it to the back of my mind until i spotted a clearer picture of the seal on a different web site and it is definitely the Star of David used in conjunction with a representation of planets.
Did anyone here know of this? - Is it just that i am way behind everyone else?

Six-pointed stars probably have been used for thousands of years, particularly for celestial representations. If you look at a light bulb shining on something like one of these new flat-screen TVs, or something like that, you will see six rays. Don't know why this is. Some scientific reason, surely.
Ancient people watching the sun might have seen something similar, and adopted six rays - or a six-pointed star - in their representations.
Jews probably adopted it, for some reason.

Who knows? Which came first, the six-pointed star, or the jews' worship of the number 6? Who knows?
Shapes have fascination in all cultures. Triangles and pyramids and hexagons for some. Look at Islamic architecture: very beautiful, and not a triangle anywhere. Then, there's the Yin-Yang from China.
Ancient six-pointed representations of the Sun and the stars surely predates the jews/hebrews, but, no doubt, you can find a rabbi who will tell you the jews/hebrews created the Sun and the universe, and that they are, in fact, Gods. <:^0 <lol>
