I just thought of this now,
so it's not even a theory just an idea.
Could a set-up be made to have Russia and USA
say/pretend they are preparing for war with North Korea,
but then at the last minute all 3 turn on China?
There seems to be too much focus on little North Korea,
and I'm wondering why. Would a Trick on China make sense?

I don't think either the U.S. or Russia , even together could defeat China without WMD. The country would be impossible to occupy for either of them due to the huge population. They would need India to help in the occupation of China.
Russia and China are allies in the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) I doubt the Russians would consider an attack on an ally like that.
That kind of sneak attack would be ingrained into the Chinese psyke for centuries. No nation would ever trust Russia in an alliance again.
I don't think Russian honour would allow such a sneak attack, they are made of firmer stuff that the Italians after all, who just love to switch to the winning side :lol:

Big powers don't attack each other directly. It would cause annihilation of cities/countries/continents/world.

might be a proxy war with China for the U.S, they never fight in their own backyard...
I figured we would fight China in Africa, over resources.
Korea does not offer much, except a cheap work force.
every time in the past N. Korea has flared up, it was over money/support.
