The Uprising
Lyrics:

The paranoia is in bloom, the PR
Transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around

Another promise, another scene, another
A package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take it's toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die

Rise up and take the power back, it's time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

Their lead singer listens to Jonestein.

I'm not into current music, but these guys are OK from what I've heard.

They will not force us, indeed. Not with all that squalene in there, they won't.

I was hoping to guide their lead singer to TIU and DBS - may have to go to their website and make a suggestion - at least he's questioning.

I understand they made a fortune entertaining europe while it was stolen. In fact I was there at the time. Maybe they were scared or something, but they could have said this back then, no?

The answer cannot be found in the writings of others or the words of a trained mind

Its a bit late to back Alex. All that does is give Alex more cred with his drones, in europe and the us. The young people need more than protest songs, that was sixties technology and it failed anyway, look at us :)

As protest songs go, this is actually quite weak. From what I remember, this lot were on "MTV cribs" showing off their palatial homes, so they can't be that clued in.

agreed, this protest song is quite weak however, popular culture is an indicator of what our youth are following.
