French President Nicolas Sarkozy narrowly missed getting hit by a bottle of water today, after it had been thrown by a pupil as he was visiting a school in Paris.

Ironically, the president was making his visit to talk about his government's plans to combat violence in schools.

Mr Sarkozy was at a middle school in a problem zone in Beauvais, north-west of Paris. When he and his minders crossed the courtyard of the Charles Fauqueux school, many children seemed happy to be in the presence of their president - while others proved more to be reticent.

Near miss: The bottle of water can be seen brushing past Nicholas Sarkozy's shoulder as he reaches out to shake hands with pupils. The missile missed the president but the incident could have been much worse

Unknown attacker: Despite the fact that the president was surrounded by security, it is still not clear which student threw the bottle. Mr Sarkozy was not affected by the incident, carrying on with the planned visit

As he was shaking hands with the crush of teenagers, the 75cl bottle of Vittel water narrowly missed him - bushing down his right shoulder and arm before bouncing harmlessly on the ground.

The 55-year-old president did not flinch as the bottle passed him,and carried on with his visit as if he hadn't noticed.

He went on to explain measures to crack down on delinquency in French schools.

The school's deputy head, Jerome Rochard, said it was unclear who had thrown the bottle. There was a crowd of 500 pupils, teachers and security when the incident happened.

Among Mr Sarkozy's hotly contested measures are plans to create school boot camps for defiant pupils aged 13-16 and suspend family subsidies to parents whose kids play truant.

I would have been nice to see maybe a bottle/shoe combo, with at least one of them being on target. Oh well, maybe next time.
A lesson for you kids....practice, practice, practice!
One need not be a prophet to be aware of impending dangers. An accidental combination of experience and interest will often reveal events to one man under aspects which few see.

It may be hard to believe but the French media is far more controlled by zio-jewish interests than the US or GB!
