How the Gulf Oil Spill Helps Israel - Makes People Avoid the News

One thing I notice about the American population recently is that they are, to some extent, overwhelmed by bad news.

They are clutching at "green shoots" BS when any critical thinking will yield a critical statistic about the US economy - the US debt/GDP ratio is currently 93% (and that's just the official debt) - when anything above a 90% ratio is generally considered by economists to be a "danger zone".

So along comes the BP oil spill.  As far as I can tell, the extent of the oil spill is being underplayed by the US media - it's worse than is being described on the mainstream media.

Then - along comes Israel's attack on the aid flotilla.

From what I can tell, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill is the result of a reckless engineering culture at BP.

But the American public is so burnt out on bad news, they don't want to hear about Israel attacking the aid flotilla.  Or, if they do contemplate it, they get the "Israel has the right to defend themselves" bullshit.

I don't know if Israel decided to change any of their tactics to take advantage of the Gulf oil spill.  But I do notice that the American people are overwhelmed enough with bad news that they just don't want to think about Israel & the Palestinians.

I wonder if this is a conscious tactic on Israel's part (well, I know the media spamming is a conscious tactic).  What I mean is, did Israel decide to use the Gulf oil spill disaster as a smoke-screen for their attack on the aid flotilla ?

Which I guess is sort of like asking, if the aid flotilla had been in February for example, would Israel have taken the same approach, without a huge national disaster to distract Americans ?

There is probably more to it than that. Israel and the US has been pushing for sanctions against Iran for a while now, and since the Gulf oil LEAK(It is a Leak, hardly a spill) news around the World, Israel has been having their chit dignitaries lobbying foreign governments to go along them.  The US is also helping take heat off Israel and the Iran situation by using the oil leak news to drown out the proposed sanctions and the Gaza conflict.

I also noticed that the sanctions were voted and passed at the height of the flotilla massacre, which was probably used to usher in a vote.  Israel has been using threats to attack Iran and saying that Iran will shut down oil movement from the Straits of Hormuz. So who ever is the biggest oil hog (like China) would give this a lot of consideration knowing what kind of terrorist state Israel is.  Not only a day after new sanctions were placed against Iran, Israel is opening their orifice and asking for more sanctions knowing their last tactic worked to blackmail certain countries.

I expect more BS to come about in the Jew controlled media to help Israel.

Thanks !

OOPS on me for calling it a spill, you're right, it's an underwater eruption.

50,000 to 125,000 barrels a day.
