Police have arrested a self-admitted Neo-Nazi in a recent series of hate-based incidents in Montgomery County, Md..
Ian Jacob Baron, 23, was arrested and charged Tuesday.
On July 26, he allegedly vandalized the B'Nai Shalom Synagogue at 18401 Burtfield Drive in Olney with anti-Semitic graffiti, police said. Swastikas were spray-painted across the entire building and sidewalk and German references to the Holocaust were found on lamp posts in the parking lot.
"We are relieved that the police have apprehended a suspect and charged him," read a statement on the website of B'Nai Shalom. "We have and will continue to work closely with law enforcement to see that this matter reaches a conclusion within the justice system."

Hate Crime at Maryland Synagogue
The Washington Post reported police had run-in's with Baron before the incident. According to an affidavit that sets out the police's version of the case, Baron told officers in the past, that "he identifies himself as a Neo-Nazi and that he is active in the movement."
The affidavit also states Baron became a suspect following a conversation he had with a Montgomery County police officer in an Olney McDonald's. The court documents allege the officer approached Baron in the McDonald's and stated he wanted to speak with him.
"Ofc. Bachofsky asked Baron what he knew about the incident," according to the affidavit. "Baron stated 'he did not do it, but he could see why people thought he did.' Baron stated that he was visiting his parents the night the vandalism happened [in] the neighborhood behind B'Nai Shalom.
"Baron stated he was at B'Nai Shalom after the incident," the affidavit continued. "Baron stated he walked through the area on his way to get something to eat. Baron stated that his fingerprints would be on the cans used to spray-paint B'Nai Shalom. Baron stated he picked up some of the cans but that he threw the cans down when he realized what they were used for."
Baron also is charged with defacing the mailboxes at two homes in the 18500 block of Rolling Acres Way in Olney.
Police said he's charged with malicious destruction of property over $500, two counts of malicious destruction of property under $500, one count of race/religious property damage and one count of defacing religious property.
Baron is being held at the Montgomery County detention center on $5,000 bond.

"You know a lot of other people in the truth movement, they're doing a great job exposing what's going on, however, if they're not pointing the finger in the right direction as to who the real perpetrators are, what kind of service are they really providing?  Are they in fact part of the cover-up that wants to divert our attention from the real criminals?  Folks, you can't solve a problem if you're not going after the real source of the problem.  Unfortunately that's what's going on to a large degree in the so-called truth movement.  Either ignorantly or knowingly these people are diverting attention away from the real perpetrators.  This is it, right here, these are the ones !! All through the centuries for 2500 years they've been wreaking havoc on society, destroying nations, destroying economies, on and on and on it goes. The most horrific crimes that stained the pages of man's history have been committed by these scumbags and they've gotten away with it all this time!  And then they cry "VICTIM! VICTIM! "-- so you'll have sympathy on them, adding salt to the wounds!! It never ceases to amaze me when I look at the panorama of history, real history, and see what these losers have gotten away with and how they still have people fooled to this day to the point where, far from looking at them with disdain as they should,  they actually SYMPATHIZE with them "Oh! the poor Jews have been picked on!"  THEY'VE BEEN PICKING ON US !! I'm still suspect since the cameras were out. How do we know this isn't being fabricated and this young dumb punk is the fall guy (there's enough hits on the video's of that george mason jew bitch who spray painted her own dorm door)? He might have done it or he might  be an ideal fall guy. Then again, he could be just a simple moron who was lashing out, and usually lashing out like this plays into their hands.

O'Malley to speak at synagogue that was vandalized

OLNEY, MD. — Gov. Martin O'Malley is scheduled to speak at an interfaith healing service at an Olney synagogue that was vandalized.

The service at B'Nai Shalom Synagogue is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Montgomery County police arrested a 22-year-old man last week and charged him with malicious destruction of property, race or religious property damage and defacing religious property.

The vandalism included spray-painted graffiti on the exterior walls, retaining walls, light posts and parking lot of the synagogue.
