Sweden Tells a Lie & Changes Long Tradition re. Immigration

That is a background on immigration to Sweden.

Specifically, from Iraq to Sweden.  Sweden has traditionally had generous immigration laws.  They are in the position of mopping up after the United States, as Iraqi people flee the war.

So what Sweden has done very recently, is to say that Iraq is not a war zone, and they have started denying asylum applications from Iraqi people accordingly.

I asked an Iraqi friend in Finland about this, and she pointed out that they have a lot of immigrants from Iraq, thanks to the US & Israel.

So that I have to admire about Sweden, in addition to their being honest enough to publish articles about Israeli organ harvesting.

But I am surprised that they tell a lie about the war - a lie that benefits the US - instead of just saying, "hey, we're full up".

But there might be a "real politik" advantage to doing it this way.  They kiss America's & Israel's ass by going into denial mode on the war, they get some brownie points.

So even Sweden "plays the game", but at least they take in Iraqi and Aghani refugees.

Iraq isn't a war zone ?  Yeah, right.
