General Suggestion For Both Shows

All = my humble opinion, so LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!!!

1. Shows are far too long. The talk radio standard seems usually at most 2 hours, more usually 1 hour, and a quarter of the respective time elsewhere is spent with commercial breaks, news etc etc. I can't concentrate for these longer periods and find myself usually switching on and off after about 30-40 minutes.

2. Don't do a show just for the sake of doing a show. This is a vice, if at all, of TFC rather than of TiU. To follow the arguments there needs to be something approaching a clear topic list. Just wanting to talk is not enough. That can be done offline. Listeners are busy too. We make time to hear this material.

3. Connected with excessive length; some of the shows contain quite a bit of rambling and sometimes, personal stuff that is simply not appropriate to be aired and/or is damaging to the er, movement.

4. Try and can too much repetition of attacks on other talk show hosts like Rivero, Jones etc; they are getting pretty boring. You could handle this by a pre-recorded disclaimer warning of your perceived worries regarding third parties. Maybe something to replace the intro that in Daryl's case used to take the form of music snippets.

5. There's a love feast on with Gordon Duff currently for no very apparent reason yet good (though opinionated) researchers like Texe Marrs are ostracised without clear justification. The guest list is getting attenuated, there always seems to be a reason to fall out after a while. But is your new playmate Goy-friendly? Smiling men with bad reputations...

6. Please go easy on the freeman/strawman/sovereign material until someone comes up with some clear, demonstrable proof that it works and more importantly first, WHAT it is.

Remember now: LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!!!

DISCLAIMER: La-La mode continues :)

I've had problems with the latest TiURadio mp3s+ so here is what I'd do fwiw:

http://theinfounderground.com/archives/ ... -09-26.mp3
http://theinfounderground.com/archives/ ... -09-26.mp3

Haven't listened to either once I sussed the files are broken.

Bad luck. Easy to be wise after the event, but it might be worthwhile recording on tape as well.

Before you upload mp3 I also suggest you spend approx 20 seconds opening the mp3 in WinAMP, MP3DirectCut or whatever and dragging the mouse along and playing at a  few indiscriminate points to see it's OK and that there are no major blanks. If there are and you don't have an MP3 editor then

1. Download MP3DirectCut    <http://www.mpesch3.de>   .
2. Open the relevant mp3.
3. Click play and drag the position bar along and about and let it play to see what's what.
4. Found a blank section? Play the file (drag position marker back to just before the blank bit  and then): Click: "Set begin".
5. Drag position bar or otherwise navigate to end of blank and then Click "Set end".
6. Cut offending portion by cntrl + x.
7. File | Save Complete Audio - select a different name, don't overwrite existing.
Bingo! done.

Volume level too high or low? You can adjust that easily by cntl + A for select all and then cntrl + G and lock both bars if stereo and then move level up or down as required. Doesn't work on a file you've just edited and not saved, you need first  to save your edits eg. the cuts at #6 above and then change the volume on the newly saved file.

High quality = big files, slow download and more costs for you.  If original recording / encoding can't do it, consider using SUPER (crap), WinFF or one of the many other front ends to ffdshow etc  to re-encode at Mono - 16kbs - 22050Hz.  I think 8kbs  is far too low and it's not generally supported by mp3 players, 32 kbs for phone speech is double what it needs to be but not as stupidly gross as 128kbs. Stereo for phone speech IMHO unnecessary and it doubles size.  Also 22050Hz is a multiple of 11025Hz which is the most widely accepted compatibility standard, not 24000Hz. VBR might be worth trying but with CBR and the rates quoted you get stable and small files.

All the foregoing: operations on mp3 file, NO converting it to wav and back again is necessary with MP3DirectCut.

Also I know nothing about skype but a lot of the time listening to anybody's podcasts it cuts out so much it is harder to understand than a crackly phone line. Still, international calls cost, so maybe best to do skype still but outside business time which given different time zones most likely means the weekend.

HTH - YMMV.
