"anti semitic" political cartoons - elections 1896

Okay, these aren't earth-shattering, but I still thought they were interesting. Seems like people 100 years ago in the US were more aware of the problem of jewish banking houses than they are today.

There's lots of info on the whole election--looks like the gold/silver debate was a big deal back then.  But I really thought some of the "anti-semitic" cartoons were the most interesting.  There are other cartoons and info on the main page, but these are a couple that I thought were the best (I'm not sure how to post images here, so if I mess up, please feel free to fix):

-there are a few other interesting cartoons as well, including one that indicates what the Spanish/American war in cuba was really about (nice sketch of the rothschilds)
