One of the few cases of extradition from Israel to the US, even the jews don't like this asshole.

Zeev Rosenstein (Hebrew: זאב רוזנשטיין‎; born 1954) is an infamous Israeli mafia boss.

He had been suspected of ordering contract killings including those against the Abergil Crime Family[1], and running illegal gambling and prostitution rings. However, with the exception of a robbery conviction in the 1970s, Israeli police had never managed to gather sufficient evidence to indict Rosenstein.

In November 2004, after 700,000 tablets were seized in a Manhattan apartment, He was charged with distributing massive amounts of Ecstasy in the United States in a joint effort of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Israeli Ministry of Justice.

After exhausting his legal options in Israel, according to a highly significant precidential decision by the Supreme Court of Israel [1], Rosenstein was extradited to the U.S. on March 6, 2006, making him one of very few Israelis whose country has agreed to extradite for prosecution in another country. According to Israeli law and the extradition treaty between Israel and the U.S., he would serve his U.S.-imposed sentence in an Israeli prison.

Rosenstein faced a maximum of 20 years behind bars. On May 23, 2006, Rosenstein pleaded not guilty in U.S. court to charges relating to the distribution of ecstasy. On January 17, 2007, Rosenstein was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in Israel and be eligible for parole in five years and four months.
