I always laugh when somebody dies and the excuse is "god wanted him/her to be with him". The  :^) god is one selfish mother fucker. Is this another instance where  :^) god wanted someone to be with him? Did he want the boy to go through a bit of torture before  :^) god would allow him to 'go to heaven'? What are we to learn from this? That there are sick people out there? Shit, they are a dime a dozen, who the fuck doesn't know that?  <lol> What kind of coward god allows this shit to happen?

If there is a  :^) god, he is pure evil.

Cops: Mom and boyfriend bound 3-yr-old, hung him upside down, beat him to death

Police in Pennsylvania are reporting an horrific tale of torture and abuse of a 3-year-old boy that has resulted in the child's death. Authorities responding to a report of an unresponsive child quickly learned that little Scott McMillan had endured three days of beatings, whippings and other abuses before dying. To add to the horror, his mother had participated in the abuse.

WPVI-TV in Philadelphia reported Nov. 6 that arrests were made Thursday morning in West Caln Township in the killing of 3-year-old Scott McMillan after EMTs on the scene on Tuesday found the unresponsive child's body covered in bruises, lacerations, and puncture wounds. Jillian Tait, the boy's mother, and Gary Fellenbaum, her boyfriend, were charged with murder. Amber Fellenbaum, the wife of the boyfriend, was charged with child endangerment. (She shares a trailer with her husband and his girlfriend in West Caln Township, a small city west of Philadelphia.)

"Little Scotty McMillan is dead," Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said, announcing the arrests. "Over a three day period ... he was systematically tortured and beaten to death. He was punched in the face and in the stomach. He was scourged with a homemade whip. He was lashed with a metal rod. He was tied to a chair and beaten. He was tied upside down by his feet and beaten. His head was smashed through a wall."

Police say that Gary Fellenbaum, Jillian Tait and a witness confessed that the 3-year-old had been beaten with homemade devices. Over the three-day period, he was beaten with blunt and sharp objects, whipped, taped to a chair with electrical tape and beaten, all before being hung up by his feet to be beaten again. Tait told authorities that it had all started over the child refusing to eat breakfast.

Tait said, according to police, that Fellenbaum had beaten her 6- and 3-year-old boys on numerous occasions. He had even hung them both upside down and beat them once, she admitted. She allegedly said she had laughed while the beating took place.

Jillian Tait's 6-year-old is now being cared for by relatives.

Members of law enforcement say they have never seen a murder like the McMillan case. D. A. Hogan says he will seek the death penalty for Gary Fellenbaum and Jillian Tait.

Scott McMillan's death joins a growing list of shocking murders against children committed by those charged to care for them. On Monday, the Associated Press reported Tuesday (Nov. 4), 34-year-old Jillian McCabe told authorities by phone in Newport, Oregon, that she had thrown her 6-year-old son off an historic bridge. Nearly four hours later, the boy's body was found. McCabe was at the bridge and Newport County deputies arrested her on suspicion of aggravated murder, murder and manslaughter.

''The Jews are born with raging fanaticism in their hearts, just as the Bretons and the Germans are born with blond hair. I would not be in the least bit surprised if these people would not some day become deadly to the human race."

Before one tries to talk about philosophy, it would be useful to understand logic.

The question is 'why does God allow evil to exist'? The answer is that God gives us freedom. It is self-evident that we are free to do all manner of things.

Because of original sin, people have concupiscence, which is the inability to bring the passions under the order of right reason. When people indulge in sin, they have their morals corrupted and their lives can become pretty desolate. An example of this is when someone becomes addicted to drugs and their lives fall apart: their marriage falls apart; their kids hate them; they lose their job; they get arrested....

There is also the devil, who prowls the world seeking the ruin of souls.  People open themselves up to demonic influence in any number of ways.

Everyone is going to die. The question is whether we will die free from mortal sin, or if we we be damned for all eternity. God created people so that they can spend all eternity with Him, and He gave us the means of salvation through Jesus Christ and the Church.  The devil is trying to cause everyone to go to hell. The road to hell is very wide. The path to heaven is very narrow.
