How many times has it been noted that, since the invasion of Afghanistan to depose the Taliban - who had cut poppy, and, thus, heroin, production in Afghanistan - the poppy, and heroin, production had skyrocketed, with heroin flooding markets worldwide, the profits from which go into the pockets and war-chests of the enemies of humanity.

Ooops...apparently, the US military, which just keeps hanging on in Afghanistan - to protect the people, and not the poppies, of course - just managed to kill 11 drug-fighting Afghan cops, although, supposedly, they were targetting drug traffickers.   <lol>

QuoteA US-led coalition airstrike killed 11 Afghan anti-drug police officers in southern Afghanistan, the Interior Ministry said Monday. Amid conflicting reports, NATO has denied responsibility.

QuoteThe statement comes amid conflicting reports over who was behind the attack. According to the Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman, the airstrike was ordered against drug smugglers and carried out by NATO forces.
