Whisper now banning chats

Whisper, a popular top app, especially for the young crowd, has recently started banning people from being able to chat. From my own investigations, the people that are banned are usually men that are unashamed of their manliness. They are typically people like weightlifters, etc, that fit the profile of a healthy man pursuing life. And not likely to bow down to the imposed social order.

So the self minded individuals, have been banned from using the chat feature in Whisper. Whisper generates a unique code for each phone. No matter how many times you uninstall and reinstall the application, that code tracks with that phone. And that is the Whisper account. On the outside you have a pseudonym that other people see. But the staff and executives at Whisper can track you and your phone wherever you go even if you have the location feature turned off, as noted in a Register and Guardian article.

Because of the unique number generated specifically for your device, the only way around this chat block or other block, and to post, regardless of the 1984 staff of Whisper, is to get another device.

If you think about it in terms of the price charged for dating applications which typically run around $100 a year payable at once, a cheap Android device runs around $30. For instance, one that is subsidized and sold through Walmart. That is more than enough to run Whisper and use your main device as a hotspot.

So for 30 bucks, you can get back in the game. But I would advise you when entering into any private chat to immediately give an alternate method of communication such as Kik or some other popular chat platform that you prefer.

Whisper staff meatpuppets introduced a chat rating feature some six months back. This allows the system to record your 'score', and around two weeks ago, from my research, posts started appearing and reviews started popping up (Play Store) claiming chat wasn't working. I surmise a low chat score is fed through an algorithm which is set to deactivate low scoring accounts from chatting.
