Clinton 'bleached' her private server to permanently wipe emails, says House Oversight member

"Thousands of emails were permanently deleted from a private email
server for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton using a software
called BleachBit, House Oversight Committee member Trey Gowdy told Fox
   News on Thursday.

BleachBit is a program used to "prevent recovery" of deleted files.

"She and her lawyers had those emails deleted," said Gowdy, a South
Carolina Republican. "And they didn't just push the delete button; they
had them deleted where even God can't read them."

   https://twitter.com/foxfire2112/status/769166569041649665
Clinton has maintained that she deleted only personal emails from her
server, and has failed to mention her alleged bleach job.

"Beyond simply deleting files, BleachBit includes advanced features
such as shredding files to prevent recovery [and] wiping free disk
space to hide traces of files deleted by other applications,"
their
   website reads.

LIVE: FBI Director testifies before House Oversight Committee on Clinton's use of private email

by Ruptly TV , Streamed live on Jul 7, 2016
   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g2J0s10LRA
"FBI Director James Comey will testify before the House Oversight and
Government Reform Committee in Washington on Thursday, July 7, in
relation to Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton's use of
private email servers while she was serving as secretary of state.

James Comey will participate in the hearing along with the State
Department's Inspector General Steve Linick and Inspector General for
the Intelligence Community Charles McCullough III."

Gowdy, who questioned FBI Director James Comey following the
investigation into her use of a private email server while serving as
the country's top diplomat - and served on the House Select Committee
on Benghazi - claims Clinton and her legal team used the software to
destroy about 30,000 emails which she deemed "personal."

"You don't use BleachBit for yoga emails or bridesmaids emails. When
you're using BleachBit, it is something you really do not want the
   world to see,"
Gowdy said.
   https://twitter.com/MarkRocon/status/769117983545389057
Also on Thursday, a judge ordered the State Department to begin
releasing 14,900 deleted emails uncovered by the FBI by September 13,
leaving plenty of time for their contents to effect the election.

Clinton handed over around 30,000 emails from her private server in
2014 - and deleted an additional 30,000 which she called personal.
   https://twitter.com/RT_com/status/767972182920142848
The FBI were able to get around the BleachBit deletion to uncover
14,900 emails that Clinton failed to hand over. Gowdy claims to have
viewed these emails, and wants the public to see them too.

"I read every word of all of the witness interviews," Gowdy told Fox.
"My takeaway was this: Remember James Comey said [Clinton] was not
indicted because he didn't have sufficient evidence on the issue of
intent. I didn't see any questions on the issue of intent."

Trey Gowdy: Clinton Didn't Just Erase Emails, She 'Had Them Deleted So Even God Couldn't Read Them'
by Bill Fox , Published on Aug 25, 2016

"Thursday on America's Newsroom, South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy
      disagreed.
It's not fire, "it's arson---it's pyromania," the Upstate Republican
      told Martha MacCallum.
"If you are a habitual serial liar in this facet of life, it tends to
make people not believe you in other facets of life," Gowdy continued.
MacCallum asked Gowdy if he thought Clinton classified her
foundation-related emails as "private", along with "the yoga and
      wedding plans."
Gowdy said, if that was the case, he would be very concerned because
the deleted emails were expunged using a drastic cyber-measure called
      "BleachBit."
"If she considered them to be personal, then she and her lawyers had
those emails deleted," Gowdy said, "They didn't just push the delete
button, they had them deleted so even God couldn't read them.""

Following the FBI investigation, Comey said Clinton was "extremely
careless," but there weren't enough grounds to prosecute.

The additional emails have been uncovered thanks to a Freedom of
Information lawsuit brought by conservative group Judicial Watch.

The emails which will be released are related to their lawsuit over the
2012 Benghazi attack where four Americans, including US Ambassador
Chris Stevens were killed during Secretary Clinton's "Libya Gamble" in
which Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was assassinated.
   https://twitter.com/sharpfang/status/762506237913149440
"Using broad search terms, we have identified a number of documents
potentially responsive to a Benghazi-related request. At this time, we
have not confirmed that the documents are, in fact, responsive.  We
also have not determined if they involve Secretary Clinton,"
said State
   Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau.

Fox's Martha MacCallum pointed out that Clinton is yet to confirm
whether she considered emails about the Clinton Foundation to be
personal, and that she was yet to see "a single Foundation email
produced by the State Department that was sent by her."

   https://twitter.com/greenbergae/status/769046408016035840
"Even listening to her talk about the Clinton Foundation, I couldn't
help but go back and remember the press conference she gave on her
emails where every single thing she said proved to be false,"
Gowdy
   said.

BleachBit, meanwhile, cashed in on the free advertisement, featuring a
quote from Gowdy on their website, "South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy says
Hillary Clinton deleted emails 'so even God couldn't read them' using
   BleachBit."

FBI Boss Comey Connected to Clinton Foundation
House Republicans call for a special prosecutor
Kurt Nimmo - July 12, 2016 403 Comments
http://www.infowars.com/fbi-boss-comey-connected-to-clinton-foundation/

"Republicans are demanding answers from FBI boss James Comey.

On Monday, they sent a letter demanding to know why he didn't recommend
federal charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of private email
servers. Clinton "clearly placed our nation's secrets in peril," the
letter states. "No one is above the law, and the American people
deserve a more robust explanation for your decision to not recommend
   criminal charges."

The letter sent by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte of
Virginia, and committee member Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, also
mentions emails deleted by Clinton and forensically recovered by the
FBI. They want to know if the emails had anything to do with the
   Clinton Foundation.

   Director of HSBC Holdings

James Comey did not recommend federal charges in part because he is
connected to the Clinton Foundation through the Swiss bank HSBC.

Comey was appointed Director of HSBC Holdings in March, 2013. He became
an independent non-executive Director and a member of the Financial
System Vulnerabilities Committee. The appointment was set to expire
   this year.

Wealthy HSBC clients lined up to shower cash on the Clinton foundation,
including Jeffrey Epstein, the hedge fund manager and convicted sex
offender. Others include Canadian mining magnate Frank Giustra and
Richard Caring, the British retail magnate.

HSBC is connected to the Clinton Foundation through a number of
initiatives, including its "Building the Corporate Coalition," "Scaling
Rainwater Harvesting for 21st Century Mexico," "Investing in Management
and Leadership in Vietnam," and other projects. Goldman Sachs, Deutsche
Bank, Morgan Stanley, and a number of transnational corporations, also
   participate.

   Clinton Money Mill

The Clintons have used the foundation to enrich themselves. Documents
disclosed through litigation by Judicial Watch "provided a road map for
over 200 conflict-of-interest rulings that led to at least $48 million
in speaking fees for the Clintons during Hillary Clinton's tenure as
secretary of state. Previously disclosed documents in this lawsuit, for
example, raise questions about funds Clinton accepted from entities
linked to Saudi Arabia, China and Iran, among others."

Hillary Clinton and her aides were involved in fundraising for the
foundation and "she turned the State Department into the DC office of
   the Clinton Foundation."

   Special Prosecutor

Comey may be on the periphery of Clinton's use of foreign policy to
raise money for her foundation, but his position at HSBC may explain in
part why she received kid glove treatment while others accused of
similar crimes were prosecuted. His connection, however tenuous, should
be reason enough to revisit the case and appoint a special prosecutor,
as Rep. Matt Salmon of Arizona has demanded.

Ohio Republican Mike Turner accused the FBI of being "steeped in
political bias" and said there should be an "independent and impartial
decision" made about the legality of Clinton's use of email. "

15k new Hillary emails discovered as evidence of Clinton Foundation pay-to-play scheme grows
Published time: 22 Aug, 2016 22:02 Edited time: 23 Aug, 2016 13:54
https://www.rt.com/usa/356782-clinton-emails-bahrain-prince/

"The FBI has found nearly 15,000 emails that former Secretary of State
Hillary Clinton never turned over after she left office. Some show that
foreign officials tried to curry favor with the State Department by
donating millions to the Clinton Foundation.

The existence of the 14,900 messages was revealed during a court
hearing on Monday. Judicial Watch, a conservative foundation that
promotes integrity in government, has been seeking to release those
emails, all of which were found on one computer disc that includes
emails and attachments sent directly to or from Clinton or in which she
was included at some point in the email chain. Monday's court hearing
was to determine the schedule by which the new emails will be released.
   https://twitter.com/TomFitton/status/767698374124572672
Also on Monday, Judicial Watch released 725 pages of State Department
documents, including 20 email exchanges in which Clinton was a
participant. More than a dozen of them added further evidence of a
pay-to-play scheme in which foreign officials donated millions of
dollars to the Clinton Foundation and its Clinton Global Initiative in
exchange for access to the State Department.

Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain wants to meet Hillary Clinton
   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iJj53VHl8c

In one of the message chains, the Clinton Foundation's Doug Band
emailed Clinton's aide at the State Department, Huma Abedin, about a
"good friend of ours," Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain. He was "asking
   to see her,"
Band wrote in June 2009.

The crown prince had already asked to see Clinton through "normal
   channels,"
Abedin replied. "I asked and she doesn't want to commit to
   anything."

Two days later, Abedin wrote Band that Clinton was able to meet with
Crown Prince Salman, and that he should let the Bahraini royal know if
he sees him. "We have reached out thru official channels," she added.

Salman is "essentially a foreign head of government" who "couldn't get
   a meeting through official channels"
so "he had to go through the
Clinton Foundation's Doug Band to get a meeting with Mrs. Clinton,"

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told C-SPAN during an interview
   Monday morning
. Salman, through the Crown Prince's International
Scholarship Program, donated more than $32 million to the Clinton
Global Initiative between 2005 and 2010, while the Kingdom of Bahrain
donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Bahrain
Petroleum gave an additional $25,000 to $50,000, Clinton Foundation
   documents show.

"I don't know if Band was acting as a foreign agent; maybe he should
have been registered [as such], I don't know,"
Fitton said. "It raises
the question whether public office was illegally used to benefit a
   private entity or private individual."

between donors & State Dept exposed

Clinton has consistently defended her use of a private email server to
conduct official business, in part because previous secretaries of
state did so. She reportedly told the FBI during a three and a half
hour interview in early July that her predecessor at the State
Department, Colin Powell, "counseled" her at a private dinner to use a
private email account rather than a governmental one, according to FBI
notes of that interview that were handed over to Congress last Tuesday.

Over the weekend, however, Powell denied that the conversation happened.

"The truth is she was using it (her personal email) for a year before I
sent her a memo telling her what I did [during my term as secretary of
   state],"
Powell told Page Six on Saturday. "Her people have been trying
   to pin it on me."

Judicial Watch : 15k new Hillary emails discovered
   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Oj_zSJ8y0

Powell used a personal AOL email account for unclassified messages when
he served as secretary of state, and he did write Clinton "an email
   memo"
outlining how that personal email "vastly improved communications
   within the State Department,"
a spokesman told NBC News.

"To be clear, Colin Powell shouldn't have been doing government
business on his private email account, either. But that was a
Yahoo-type account ‒ he didn't set up a server to do his private
business or his government business. He didn't, for the most part, do
classified, purposefully do classified business on that system,"
Fitton
said of the difference between Powell's actions and Clinton's. "When
Mrs. Clinton came into office, they did have a non-classified email
system for her to use that she could have used, but she declined to
   use."

   usage – report

The Judicial Watch president also noted that two current members of the
Obama cabinet, Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Homeland Security
Secretary Jeh Johnson, have both sought to avoid Freedom of Information
Act (FOIA) requirements, with Carter using a private email server, even
after the Clinton scandal broke, and Johnson receiving waivers to
access personal emails via government computers despite security
   concerns.

"You know, the government doesn't want you to know what they're doing,
and that's true Republican or Democrat administration,"
Fitton said.
"And the widespread use of email and other internet media like text
messaging is a challenge because the government officials know there
are ways of keeping things from us, so we just have to keep on tracking
   it."

The Department of State has known about  the newly revealed emails at
least since August 5, which is when the FBI finished turning over all
its material related to its investigation into Clinton's use of a
private email server while secretary of state, the Washington Post
reported. The agency officially closed its case against Clinton on July 7.

The State Department has yet to sift through all the documents to
determine if any will be held back or redacted due to either their
personal nature or for security reasons. On top of that, some emails
may be duplicates of previously released ones. The agency has promised
to begin releasing the messages in weekly batches beginning on October
   14. They will also provide a status update so that District Judge James
   E. Boasberg can determine which ones would need to be produced under
   Judicial Watch's FOIA request."
