  "Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has verbally "offered to resign"
   in discussions with White House Chief of Staff Kelly, according to a
   source close to Rosenstein, but as of now, it's unclear whether his
   resignation has been accepted. The source said it's possible nothing
   happens today.

   Background: Rosenstein talked last year about invoking the 25th
   Amendment and wearing a wire during Trump meetings, the N.Y. Times'
   Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt reported last week. He denied both
   allegations.

   Clarification: This article and headline have been updated to add that
   it's unclear whether the resignation offer has been accepted.

The "fake news" leak against Rosenstein was designed to create suspicion, and result in his firing or resignation, so as to end the criminal investigation of the corrupt "Presidency' of shabbos goy Donnie-boy.

The "fake news" leak against Pence http://theinfounderground.com/smf/index.php?topic=24320.0  was designed to create suspicion, and result in his resignation - he cannot be fired - which would open the door for President/King Kushner to be appointed "Vice President." and all that would be required would be Congressional approval, and which of them are going to vote against jew-boy Jared?

Pence fell for the trap, and volunteered for a "lie-detector test"

This has all been very carefully plotted to occur at the time of the October Revolution in Russia https://www.britannica.com/topic/October-Revolution-Russian-history  which occurred October 24-25, or November 6-7, 1917 (they missed the 100-year anniversary, but 101 years later gives them 1-0-1, or 11).  As an added bonus, November 6, 2018, is the date of the US mid-term elections, which they expect to fix, so as to solidify the Kushner/Trump dynasty/dictatorship.

Regarding "fake news," we can see that the plot was to pulverize the public with the term "fake news" until they are numb to it, so that the REAL "fake news" can be implemented, in the form of these "leaks," which are prepared by Israhell, and "leaked" by the jew York Times.
