Why 'Holocaust Memorial Day' should be 'Genocide Memorial Day'
http://semiticcontroversies.blogspot.com/2019/01/why-holocaust-memorial-day-should-be.html

The leader of the UK's Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn – who is part jewish himself – (1) has been attacked for wanting to change so-called 'Holocaust Memorial Day' to 'Genocide Memorial Day', (2) but I find myself in agreement with him despite our rather extreme political differences. The problem with so-called 'Holocaust Memorial Day' is that it treats the so-called 'Holocaust' as a genocide that is completely unique in history. This is an incredibly difficult position to sustain given that there have been many genocides that were either greater in scope – for example Mao's 'Cultural Revolution' and Pol Pot's 'Killing Fields' – or were just as targeted – for example Stalin's systematic destruction of 'National Minorities' considered disloyal from 1941 to 1953 and the nascent Israeli state's 'Plan Dalet' – or were more violent – for example the Rwandan genocide and the continuing 'Narco Wars' in Central and South America – but that hasn't stopped jews trying.

These range from the dismissive – such as Simon Wiesenthal's hand-waving that the so-called 'Holocaust' is simply 'not comparable' to Soviet genocides from the same era – (3) to the fantastical – such as Anne Applebaum's weird rambling about 'industrialization' and 'murder for murder's sake' being the differentiating factors – (4) but they are united in the fact that they stem from a judeocentric view of history.

After all the 'Holocaust' isn't just another genocide to them, but rather it is the genocide of the jews and because of who its victims are it is unique and must be qualitatively different to genocides that have targeted non-jews throughout history. This jewish particularism is derived in part from the myth of the 'chosen people' of Israel as relayed in the Tanakh (aka the 'Jewish Bible') but also from the writing of jewish history as a never-ending story of 'unjust persecution' of a biological tribe of cultural, economic and scientific geniuses that never critically evaluates why said 'persecution' happened or mentions the 'unjust promotion' of the jews because they were... well... jews. (5)

This is why jews claim to have made a massive 'contribution to civilization' (6) even though this thesis is based upon shoddy reasoning and deliberately conflates both who is a jew and attributes achievement purely to a single jewish ancestor in some cases. (7) It is all about justifying their judeocentric world view that has been derived from the jewish particularist ideology rather than acknowledging the simple fact that a genocide targeting jews is just like a genocide targeting non-jews. They will engage in just about any possible rationalization to defend the 'unique nature' of the so-called 'Holocaust'.

A good example of this is the uniquely jewish belief that knowledge of the 'Holocaust' is in a state of perpetual crisis and unless they demand yet more 'remembrance' and 'education' then it will be 'forgotten' and another 'Holocaust' will directly result from this event. (8) Yet everybody and their aunt knows about the so-called 'Holocaust' as we are subjected to movie after movie, book after book and news story after news story about it.

If you doubt me just check the mainstream media and you'll see more discussion of the 'Holocaust' then even say the Second World War, which killed many times more people than so-called homicidal gas chambers did. In the UK this 'Holocaust Memorial Day' there were over 11,000 individual events commemorating it (9) as well as a deluge of news stories demanding that 'people remember' around the world. (10)

This is more than happened for the true Remembrance Day in November 2018! (11)

Add to that the fact that the jews are demanding a massive new 'Holocaust Memorial' directly opposite the British Houses of Parliament (12) and screeching about so-called 'anti-Semitism' when anyone objects. (13) Then we can see that the problem is that – as Norman Finkelstein argued – 'Holocaust' remembrance has become an industry that has become weaponized against non-jews by the more extreme exponents of jewish particularism: the Israel Lobby. (14)

Therefore in order to combat the increasing absurdity of the 'Holocaust' industry's demands. The so-called 'unique' nature of the 'Holocaust' must be rejected and the truthfulness of the charges that its proponents make against European countries – particularly Germany – opened up to non-policed academic scrutiny.

One suspects that when this inevitably happens it won't be one in twenty adults who don't believe in the so-called 'Holocaust' (15) but rather one in twenty adults who still believe that the so-called 'Holocaust' happened and most of them would be jewish.
