So, there was a shooting at a kosher store in New Jersey, and one of the shooters was supposedly a follower of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement.  Looks like the jews will soon start targeting black Americans.

The Black Jew aspect of this story is an interesting side note. Anthropologist James E. Landing, in his book Black Judaism: Story of an American Movement https://www.amazon.com/Black-Judaism-Story-American-Movement/dp/0890898200 , writes that Jews and Christians reject the assertion Blacks were the original Hebrew Jews.

Black Judaism is ... a form of institutionalized (congregational) religious expression in which black persons identify themselves as Jews, Israelites, or Hebrews ... in a manner that seems unacceptable to the "whites" of the world's Jewish community, primarily because Jews take issue with the various justifications set forth by Black Jews in establishing this identity. Thus "Black Judaism," as defined here, stands distinctly apart from "black Judaism," or that Judaic expression found among black persons that would be acceptable to the world's Jewish community, such as conversion or birth from a recognized Jewish mother. "Black Judaism" has been a social movement; "black Judaism" has been an isolated social phenomenon.

This "extremist fringe of the Hebrew Israelite movement" was highlighted by the Southern Poverty Law Center as racist and supremacist. "Around the country, thousands of men and women have joined black supremacist groups on the extremist fringe of the Hebrew Israelite movement, a black nationalist theology that dates back to the 19th century," the SPLC wrote more than a decade ago.

Its doctrine asserts that African Americans are God's true chosen people because they, not the people known to the world today as Jews, are the real descendants of the Hebrews of the Bible. Although most Hebrew Israelites are neither explicitly racist nor anti-Semitic and do not advocate violence, there is a rising extremist sector within the Hebrew Israelite movement whose adherents believe that Jews are devilish impostors and who openly condemn whites as evil personified, deserving only death or slavery.

The SPLC characterizes the movement as "the reversed-color mirror image of the Christian Identity theology embraced by many white supremacists, which holds that mainstream Jews are the descendants of Satan and that white people are the chosen ones, divinely endowed by God with superior status over 'mud people,' believers' term for non-white individuals."

African Hebrew Israelites emigrated to Israel in the 1960s where they endure racism to this day, not only by Jewish citizens but also the "apartheid" government (if Israel were truly an apartheid nation, it would establish Bantustans for Palestinians instead of engaging in slow-motion ethnic cleansing and the wholesale theft of Palestinian land). 

Black Hebrews, according to Haaretz, are "in appalling fashion... still viewed by some Israelis as outsiders to be scorned. They are regularly referred to as kushim—a racial slur for black people—on the street, in the Hebrew press, and even by government representatives who clearly should know better."

The attack on a Jersey City kosher grocery is being investigated as an act of domestic terrorism motivated by anti-Semitism and police hatred, authorities announced. Six people including the attackers died in Tuesday's shootout.

The investigation into the shooting at JC Kosher Supermarket is now a domestic terrorism probe, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and New Jersey US Attorney Craig Carpenito told reporters on Thursday, adding that the violence was believed to be motivated by anti-Semitism and hatred of law enforcement.

"The evidence points towards acts of hate," Grewal said.

One of the shooters, identified as David Anderson, was linked on Wednesday to the Black Hebrew Israelites, a fringe black supremacist group. Anderson made anti-Semitic and anti-police posts online before embarking on the shooting spree, according to law enforcement. A "manifesto-style note" was also found in the stolen U-Haul Anderson and his companion, a woman named Francine Graham, were driving.

Authorities are reportedly examining social media posts made by Anderson and Graham to learn more about their beliefs.

While the attack was initially thought to be random, surveillance footage showed the pair deliberately targeted the kosher market, driving there after gunning down a detective who attempted to question them about a recent murder in which they were also suspects.

They shot three more civilians inside the store before they were themselves killed by police in a gun battle that lasted for several hours.

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop did not hesitate to describe the shooting as a "hate crime against Jewish people" on Wednesday, a description echoed by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, though law enforcement were initially more cautious in applying that descriptor.

"We are not in the position, at this time, to say definitively why the suspects decided to stop in front of the supermarket and begin firing immediately," Grewal stated on Thursday, while Carpenito clarified, "They were clearly targeting that store. They were clearly targeting the Jersey City Police Department. We don't know why.

The comments in the Twitter thread and in the comment section from the HuffPost are very interesting. The discussions are coming from a lot of angles. There are people critical of Mayor Blasio's lack of policing and there are also a bunch of anti-police types complaining that putting more police on the streets will just terrorize innocent blacks and brown people.

Blasio is hilariously between a rock and a hard place, having to simultaneously appease the far left woke contingent and powerful NY Jews.

The very nature of the conflict between blacks vs orthodox Jews means that the discussions will be hampered somewhat by political correctness and it is forcing people to have some very uncomfortable discussions. No one really wants to get at the heart of the discussion, which are that the disgusting chicken twirlers are hated by everyday working blacks for their actions within the community, and that police can no longer profile potentially violent black males.

Flurry Of Anti-Semitic Attacks Emerge In New York City During Hanukkah

New York City police are investigating at least six possible anti-Semitic hate crimes that occurred over the past week and coincide with Hanukkah.

The attacks occurred primarily in the borough of Brooklyn, with multiple victims between the ages of 6 and 65 years old claiming they were physically assaulted and, in some cases, subjected to anti-Semitic slurs.

During a news conference Friday afternoon, the New York Police Department's chief of detectives Rodney Harrison said that since Dec. 13, police have been investigating eight "alarming" hate crimes. (A motive hasn't yet been established for all of these instances.)

"We treat them very seriously and we make sure that our investigators do their best to do what we can to bring these individuals to justice that commit these crimes," Harrison said.

On Monday morning, a 65-year-old man wearing a yarmulke was reportedly punched and kicked in broad daylight near Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal by an attacker who yelled an expletive and referred to the victim's Jewish identity, according to CBS New York. A suspect was charged with assault as a hate crime for the attack.

Later on Monday, police received a report that two boys, ages 6 and 7, were attacked by a group of teenagers inside a residential building in Williamsburg, CNN reported. Harrison said Friday that one of the boys was punched in the stomach. The case is still being investigated.

Stephen Levin, a New York City council member, said on Twitter that the children were residents of that apartment building. He said the building is a New York City Housing Authority development where the "Hasidic community has lives [sic] side by side in harmony with the broader community for decades."

Then, early Tuesday morning, a group of over 10 people cursed and yelled anti-Semitic slurs at a 25-year-old man walking down a street in Crown Heights, CBS New York reported. When the victim took out his cellphone to record what was happening, one member of the group allegedly threw a drink at him, and the group scattered, CBS reported.

Harrison said Friday that the individual who threw the drink has not yet been identified.

Later that day, a 56-year-old man walking in the same neighborhood was also attacked. Surveillance footage obtained by CBS shows the man being punched in the head and falling to the ground. The suspects in this case have not yet been identified, Harrison said.

The fifth incident took place on Thursday afternoon in south Brooklyn, NBC New York reported. Police said a 34-year-old Jewish mother was walking in the neighborhood with her 3-year-old child when an attacker yelled anti-Semitic slurs at her and hit her in the face with a shopping bag. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Ayana Logan, was charged with assault as a hate crime.

On Friday morning in Crown Heights, police said three women between the ages of 22 and 31 were slapped in the face by a 30-year-old female suspect, who was later arrested and charged with harassment in the first degree, a hate crime. Harrison said that during an interrogation, the suspect said that she committed the crime because she thought the women were Jewish.

There was at least one other incident Friday morning with a possible anti-Jewish bias. According to ABC New York, a man walked into the world headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement and threatened to shoot up the place. The man reportedly walked away after issuing this threat, ABC reported.

The NYPD documented 311 total hate crimes from January to September of this year, over half of which targeted Jews, the Times of Israel reported.

Evan Bernstein, the Anti-Defamation League regional director, said the organization is appalled by the "sheer frequency and aggressive nature" of the incidents, especially during the holidays. Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, began on Sunday.

"Enough is enough; now is the time for society to come together in rejection of this hate and for public officials and community leaders to speak up, lead by example, and demand meaningful change to protect the Jewish community," Bernstein said in a statement.

Five Hasidic Jews were stabbed by a machete-wielding attacker who broke into the house of Rabbi Chaim Rottenberg late on Saturday night. The perpetrator, allegedly a black male, slashed at victims indiscriminately as they attempted to flee the chaotic scene.

"This is intolerance meets ignorance meets illegality," Cuomo told reporters on Sunday, calling the attack the 13th incidence of anti-Semitism in recent weeks. "This is violence spurred by hate, it is mass violence, and I consider it an act of domestic terrorism."

Police have arrested the alleged perpetrator, though his possible terrorist motives are unknown. The man was arrested without struggle in Harlem shortly after midnight. He has been identified as 37-year-old Grafton Thomas, and will face five counts of attempted murder and one count of burglary, Police Chief Brad Weidel told AP.

The Jewish community has been pointing to this nebulous "Black anti-Semitism" since at least the 1940s, when Louis Silberman, a rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, wrote about "the rise of Negro anti-Semitism..."

"This rather new trend can be explained at least partially on psychological and partially on economic grounds," wrote Silberman. "The Negro, filled with hidden resentment because of the inferior status forced upon him and not daring to express it in open anti-white terms, can find an outlet through his attitude toward a group that in one sense belongs to the dominant white majority, and at the same time does not completely belong, and therefore can be the target of hatred without inviting the wrath of the community as a whole... to the Negro [the Jew] becomes a symbol of general economic discrimination and injustice."

...What is remarkable, though, is that a single factor underlies every attempt to diagnose a unique form of Black anti-Semitism: systemic racism. Ultimately, the conversation about Black anti-Semitism is not actually about Blacks and Jews – a binary that not only serves to divide our communities further but also erases the growing number of people who inhabit both. Working to address the well-documented social challenges faced disproportionately by Black Americans.

As Vorspan wrote, somewhat sardonically, some 50 years ago:

"Even if we beat every black anti-Semite into the ground with a two-by-four marked 'Remember the six million,' will we eliminate anti-Semitism? What we must do about it is not exhaust ourselves with symptoms but deal with the root problems which spawn hatred and violence and frustration. Until we deal with the misery of the slums, until we eliminate unemployment and underemployment, until we deal with the terrible plight of powerlessness, until we humanize our monstrous welfare system, until we deal with the social problems of the American city, there will be anti-Semitism and there will be every other kind of prejudice and every other kind of antisocial fury."

So, in other words, Blacks really don't have a beef with Jews moving into their neighborhoods, buying up their properties for pennies on the dollar, forcing low-income Blacks out or into government-subsidized rental housing owned by Jewish slumlords and profiteers.

No, that's not actually happening at all, and when Blacks strike out at Jews as these real tensions boil to the surface, it's merely misplaced Black resentment toward Jews, when in reality, Blacks really need to keep hating Whites for all their problems.

Remember, Jamal, it's Whitey who created these slums to "keep you down", not us Jews who love you and took part in your Civil Rights marches with you.  Don't mug, beat, and shoot us.  Save that violence for those who really deserve it: For Whitey.

Is the JDL trying to start a race war in New York City?

The Jewish Defense League of Canada has announced its intention to descend on New York City in the next few weeks to "fight Black Nazis who are brainwashed into hating Jews."

Meir Weinstein, the Canadian leader of the JDL, posted on Facebook that his group plans to hold an "information meeting" in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn on 2 February. Based on the organization's history, violent JDL actions in the streets cannot be ruled out.

One of the group's announcements labels congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as well as Arab American activist Linda Sarsour, as "anti-Semitic, anti-American traitors." Offering no evidence, the announcement blames them for brainwashing "Black Nazis."

All three have endorsed Bernie Sanders, who would be the first Jewish president of the United States if he wins November's election.

White supremacists have targeted Omar and Tlaib with death threats and intimidation in recent months. Now there is an international threat originating with the Canadian branch of the JDL.

Sarsour, Women's March board member Carmen Perez and politically exiled former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick are targeted in a separate JDL announcement.

Kaepernick is evidently being vilified due to a recent tweet following President Donald Trump's assassinations in Iraq. He highlights that "There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism."

The JDL's definition of anti-Semitism is very broad and extends beyond those who have engaged in anti-Jewish violence recently in New Jersey and New York – as in Monsey – and elsewhere. The organization is exploiting these horrific attacks to smear Trump's opponents as anti-Semites merely for criticizing US or Israeli actions.

The group has repeatedly criticized supporters of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement for Palestinian rights, at times engaging in violence against advocates for Palestinian freedom and equal rights.

The group's focus in New York on "Black anti-Semitism" rather than white supremacy that targets Jews points to the organization's own anti-Black racism and the real possibility that it will exacerbate tensions in New York. It certainly isn't there to calm matters and substantively address the situation. Rather than stop an anti-Semitic attack, the chances are much greater that they will leave the situation worse than when they arrived.

International violence
In a report on "terrorism" in 2000-2001, the FBI described the Jewish Defense League as "a right-wing terrorist group."

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that monitors extremism, notes that Baruch Goldstein, the settler from Brooklyn who massacred 29 Palestinians during Ramadan prayers in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron in 1994, was a member of the JDL.

The JDL of Canada comes out of the violent milieu of Goldstein and the organization's founder, Meir Kahane, the late Brooklyn rabbi and former member of the Israeli parliament who advocated that all Palestinians should be expelled from their homeland.

The Israeli party he co-founded – Kahane Chai, or Kach – is designated by the US State Department as a foreign terrorist organization.

This background raises the question of whether the Canadian JDL activists will even be allowed into the United States.

Entrance did not however prove a problem for the group in 2017, when members provided an aggressive presence at the annual AIPAC conference.

A chilling video shows JDL activists beating Kamal Nayfeh, a Palestinian professor from North Carolina, outside the conference.

Weinstein, who heads the Canadian group, can be viewed approaching the assault with a large yellow JDL flag at the 15-second mark.

JDL activists attacked other people on the same day, including activists with the Jewish progressive group IfNotNow.

At least one of the activists appearing in this violent AIPAC conference video – commenting with goatee and long hair at the 1:23 mark – also appears in JDL promotional material for "security training" lessons offered in Canada.

Canadian JDL member Yosef Steynovitz and self-described "Christian buddy of the JDL" Brandon Vaughan, along with anti-Muslim activist Rami Lubranicki of New Jersey, all faced charges for their actions outside the AIPAC conference.

More recently, the JDL of Canada engaged late last year in violent attacks against York University students protesting a Reservists on Duty event organized by the anti-Palestinian Herut organization, according to witnesses and video.

With this recent record of violence both in the US and Canada, there is the alarming prospect that extremist JDL members are about to enter the country and bring more chaos and brutality, this time in New York City.

Not sure if you know who Professor Griff is but he was a member of Public Enemy, the rap group that was popular in the late 80's and early 90's.

Like other rappers from that era, he called out Jews and was forced into an apology.

Public Enemy Rap Group Reorganizes After Anti-Semitic Comments

Public Enemy, a rap group whose disbandment had been announced by its record company in the wake of anti-Semitic statements by its designated ''minister of information,'' is ''back in action,'' according to a statement released by the group on Wednesday.

Public Enemy's third album, ''Fear of a Black Planet,'' is to appear this winter, and two of its three performing members - the rapper William (Flavor Flav) Drayton and the disk jockey Norman (Terminator X) Rogers - are also working on solo albums. Chuck D. Ridenhour is the group's songwriter and main rapper. One of Public Enemy's songs, ''Fight the Power,'' is on the soundtrack of Spike Lee's new film, ''Do the Right Thing,'' and a home video of the group, ''Fight the Power Live,'' has just been released.

Controversy around the band began after Richard Griffin, formerly Public Enemy's minister of information, said in an interview with The Washington Times: ''The Jews are wicked. And we can prove this.'' Mr. Griffin, who was known in the group as Professor Griff, also said that Jews are responsible for ''the majority of wickedness that goes on across the globe.''

At a news conference on June 21, Mr. Ridenhour announced the dismissal of Mr. Griffin, who did not perform or write songs but appeared on stage with the band as a member of the group's uniformed ''security force.'' A few days later, Public Enemy's disbandment was announced by its record company, Def Jam.

Now, the band has reappeared. ''I never said we disbanded,'' Mr. Ridenhour said in a telephone interview yesterday. ''I said Griff had to lose his position.''

Mr. Griffin, however, has been rehired by Public Enemy as the band's ''supreme allied chief of community relations,'' the statement said, adding that ''his duties will include service to the black community with special attention to local youth programs.'' Community Service Work

Mr. Ridenhour said Mr. Griffin will work with ''programs of various organizations in the community like the Urban League, and work out personal appearances'' such as performances, seminars or autograph signings. The band has a new minister of information, James Norman.

''Griff's statements were wrong and I apologized,'' Mr. Ridenhour said. ''He also apologized to me. Griff wasn't clear in his thinking and he wasn't 100 per cent right. He's not going to make those statements any more, and he won't do interviews. He's definitely going to talk - you can't tell any man to be quiet, this is America - but he won't be dealing with any kind of major media. He's going to tell black kids to be the best they can be.''

Mr. Ridenhour said Public Enemy did not intend to be divisive, but to urge self-development for the black community. ''The problem is the system of white world supremacy,'' he said. ''It's not white people, but the system that benefits them more than us. And the counterattack for black people is intelligence, self-sufficiency and self-development. You have to build a respect mechanism for yourself, as a self-defense mechanism, and make yourself as strong a person as you can possibly be.''
