Haddad: US, Israel's proxy warrior

Iran's Majlis speaker has called the US a proxy warrior for Israel bent on destabilizing the Middle East in favor of the Zionist regime.

Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel made the remark in response to a question by Press TV correspondent in a press conference in Tehran Wednesday.

Commenting on Condoleezza Rice's claims that Palestinian Hamas fighters are serving as the proxy warrior for Iran, Haddad-Adel said that Rice had better call the US a proxy warrior for Israel, determined to create tensions and destabilize the Middle East region.

The Iranian Majlis speaker noted that Hamas is fighting for its legitimate right, which is defending its nation against the occupation forces.
