ISRAELI PRIME MINISTERS
All of the Israeli Prime Ministers are connected to the Russian Empire and USSR either by being born there themselves or at least one parent being born in the Russian Empire / USSR.

DAVID BEN-GURION
David Ben-Gurion was the first Prime Minister of Israel. He was born in Płońsk in Congress Poland – then part of the Russian Empire.

His father, Avigdor Grün, was a lawyer and a leader in the Hovevei Zion movement.

At the age of 14 he and two friends formed a youth club, Ezra, promoting Hebrew studies and emigration to the 'Holy Land'.
In 1905, as a student at the University of Warsaw, he joined the Social-Democratic Jewish Workers' Party – Poalei Zion.
Ben-Gurion's passion for Zionism led him to become a major Zionist leader and Executive Head of the World Zionist Organization in 1946.

As head of the Jewish Agency from 1935, and later president of the Jewish Agency Executive, he was the de facto leader of the Jewish community in Palestine, and largely led its struggle for an independent Jewish state in Mandatory Palestine. On 14 May 1948, he formally proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel, and was the first to sign the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

In 1946, Ben-Gurion agreed that the Haganah could cooperate with Menachem Begin's Irgun in fighting the British, Ben-Gurion agreed to Begin's plan to carry out the 1946 King David Hotel bombing.

Ben-Gurion is said to have been "nearly obsessed" with Israel obtaining nuclear weapons.




MOSHE SHARETT
Born in Kherson in the Russian Empire, Sharett immigrated to Ottoman Palestine as a child in 1906.

Attended the London School of Economics, and while there he worked for the British Poale Zion and actively edited the Workers of Zion. One of the people he met while in London was Chaim Weizmann. Weizmann was the first Israeli President and good friend of Lord Weidenfeld.




LEVI ESHKOL
Eshkol (Shkolnik) was born in Oratov, Kiev Governorate, Russian Empire on 25 Oct 1895.

Eshkol was a member of Zeiri Zion (Youth of Zion) and Hapoel Hatzair going on to become a leading member of the Judea Workers' Union.

He was a founding member of Histadrut and a founding member of the terrorist group Haganah. Eshkol was representative of Haganah in the leadership of the Jewish Resistance Movement.

Upon election, he fulfilled Ze'ev Jabotinsky's wish and brought his body to Israel for reburial.

Eshkol worked to improve Israel's foreign relations, establishing diplomatic relations with West Germany in 1965, as well as cultural ties with the Soviet Union, which also allowed some Soviet Jews to immigrate to Israel.

Oversaw the Six Day War and bombing and torpedoing of the USS Liberty. His 'special relationship' with LBJ gave the necessary support and no repercussions for the war or for the attack on the unarmed USS Liberty that killed 34 and wounded 171.




GOLDA MEIR
Born Golda Mabovitch, May 3, 1898 in Kiev, Russian Empire
In 1913, Golda returned to North Division High, Milwaukee, graduating in 1915. While there, she became an active member of Young Poale Zion, which later became Habonim, the Labor Zionist youth movement. She spoke at public meetings and embraced Socialist Zionism. She became a committed Labor Zionist. 

During the First World War, she threw her energies into Poale Zion activities.

A short time after their wedding, she embarked on a fund-raising campaign for Poale Zion that took her across the United States.

She strongly identified with Judaism culturally, but was an atheist in religious belief.

Carrying the first Israeli-issued passport, Meir was appointed Israel's minister plenipotentiary to the Soviet Union.




YITZHAK RABIN
Rabin was born in Jerusalem to Russian-Jewish immigrants on 1 March 1922.

He was raised in a Labor Zionist household. His father, Nehemiah Rubitzov was born in the shtetl Sydorovychi near Ivankiv in the southern Pale of Settlement (Ukraine).

As a teenager he joined the Palmach (the elite fighting force of the Haganah),

He eventually rose through its ranks to become its chief of operations during Israel's War of Independence. Rabin directed Israeli operations in Jerusalem and fought the Egyptians.
On 25 July 1993, after Hezbollah fired rockets into northern Israel, Rabin authorized a week-long military operation in Lebanon.

Rabin played a leading role in the signing of the Oslo Accords, which created the Palestinian National Authority and granted it partial control over parts of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
This led to Rabin being assassinated by a Jewish extremist.

After the murder, it was revealed that Avishai Raviv, a well known right-wing extremist at the time, was in fact a Shin Bet agent-informer code-named Champagne. Raviv was later
acquitted in court of charges that he failed to prevent the assassination.




MENACHEM BEGIN
Begin was born in Brest-Litovsk in the Russian Empire.
His mother's side he was descended from were distinguished  rabbis.

His father, a timber merchant, was a community leader, a passionate Zionist, and an admirer of Theodor Herzl.
He was a member of the Zionist scouts movement Hashomer Hatzair.

Begin was a disciple of Vladimir "Ze'ev" Jabotinsky, the founder of the nationalist Revisionist Zionism movement and its Betar youth wing.




YITZHAK SHAMIR
Shamir was born in Jewish village of Ruzhany, Grodno province, Russian Empire. As a youth, he joined Betar, the Revisionist Zionist youth movement.

According to witness statements, during WW2 Shamir's father was part of the local Judenrat, ratting out fellow Jews to German authorities.

Before the establishment of the state of Israel, Shamir was a leader of the Zionist terrorist group Lehi and was previously a member of Irgun Zvai Leumi.

After the establishment of the Israeli state he served in the Mossad. He authorized the assassination of the United Nations representative in the Middle East, Count Folke Bernadotte, who was killed in September 1948. He also directed Operation Damocles, the assassinations of German scientists.

Shamir urged the US government to stop granting refugee visas to Soviet Jews, persuading it that they were not refugees because they already had a homeland in Israel, and were only moving to the United States for economic reasons. He also termed the emigration of Soviet Jews to the United States rather than to Israel "defection", and called the issuing of US refugee visas to Soviet Jews when Israel was already willing to take them in "an insult to Israel". In 1989, a million Soviets, many Jewish emigrated to Israel.




SHIMON PERES
Born Szymon Perski, on 2 August 1923, in Wiszniew, Poland (now Vishnyeva, Belarus)

Peres told Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson that he had been born as a result of a blessing his parents had received from a chassidic rebbe and that he was proud of it.

Peres was director of the Defense Ministry's delegation in the United States in the early 1950s. While in the U.S. he studied English, economics, and philosophy at The New School and New York University, and advanced management at Harvard University.

Peres was the secretary general of the defense ministry at the time of the Lavon Affair.

Peres is regarded as one of the founders of Israel's technology sector.

Served as PM during the Jonathan Pollard spying scandal (that involved theft of nuclear technology) and the theft by Israeli intelligence of cutting edge PROMIS software technology. Peres later apologized for the spying.

He was a personal friend of Les Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein.
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin said: "I was extremely lucky to have met this extraordinary man many times. And every time I admired his courage, patriotism, wisdom, vision and ability."




BENJAMIN NETANYAHU
Netanyahu was born in 1949 in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Tzila Segal who had been born in Petah Tikva in the Ottoman's Mutasarrifate of Jerusalem, and a Warsaw-born father, Prof.
Benzion Netanyahu (original name Mileikowsky). Benzion was a senior aide to Ze'ev Jabotinsky.

All of Benjamin's grandparents were born in the Russian Empire.

Between 1956-58, and 1963-67, he lived in Cheltenham Township, PA, USA.

After graduating from high school he enlisted in the IDF. He trained as a combat soldier and served five years in an elite special forces unit of the IDF, Sayeret Matkal. Between 1978 and 1980 he ran the Jonathan Netanyahu Anti-Terror Institute, a non-governmental organization devoted to the study of terrorism; the Institute held a number of international conferences focused on the discussion of international terrorism.

Talking about a Dec 1979 conference, attended by the likes of G.H.W. Bush and Sen. Henry Jackson, Max Blumenthal says that Netanyahu's aim was, after the Islamic revolution of Iran in 1979, to "internationalize the Israeli understanding of terrorism", which he considers the clash of civilizations narrative and "the crude mantra of the post-9/11 era in America."

Netanyahu was influenced by Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, with whom he formed a relationship during the 1980s. He referred to Schneerson as "the most influential man of our time" It was while living in New York during the 1980s that Netanyahu became friends with Fred Trump, the father of Donald Trump.

Arthur Finkelstein helped the campaigns of both Netanyahu in 1996 and Trump in 2016.




EHUD BARAK
Barak was born on 12 February 1942 in kibbutz Mishmar HaSharon in what was then Mandatory Palestine. Two of Barak's grandparents were from Warsaw, Poland and another two where from Pušalotas (Pushelat) in northern Lithuania (then ruled by Russian Empire).

Barak later served as head of Aman, the Military Intelligence Directorate (1983–85), head of Central Command (1986–87) and Deputy Chief of the General Staff (1987–91).

He served as Chief of the General Staff between 1 April 1991 and 1 January 1995.

His name and address appears in the convicted pedophile and alleged sexual entrapment operative Jeffrey Epstein's black book. One victim of Epstein alleges she had engaged in underage sexual activity with a former head of state.




ARIEL SHARON
Sharon was born on 26 February 1928 in Kfar Malal, an agricultural moshav, then in Mandatory Palestine, to Shmuel Scheinerman of Brest-Litovsk and Vera (née Schneirov) Scheinerman of Mogilev. His mother, Vera, was from a family of Russian Subbotnik Jewish origin.

Sharon was a commander in the Israeli Army from its creation in 1948.

As a soldier and then an officer, he participated prominently in the 1948 Palestine war, becoming a platoon commander in the Alexandroni Brigade and taking part in many battles, including Operation Bin Nun Alef. He was an instrumental figure in the creation of Unit 101 and the reprisal operations, as well as in the 1956 Suez Crisis, the Six-Day War of 1967, the War of Attrition, and the Yom-Kippur War of 1973.

Yitzhak Rabin has called Sharon "the greatest field commander in our history".

Upon retirement from the military, Sharon entered politics, joining the Likud party, and served in a number of ministerial posts in Likud-led governments in 1977–92 and 1996–99.
As Minister of Defense, he directed the 1982 Lebanon War.

An official enquiry found that he bore "personal responsibility" for the Sabra and Shatila massacre and recommended that he be removed as Defense Minister. His role in the massacre led to him being known as the "Butcher of Beirut" among Arabs.
From the 1970s through to the 1990s, Sharon championed construction of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.




EHUD OLMERT
Olmert was born near Binyamina in the British Mandate
of Palestine. His parents, Bella (Wagman) and Mordechai were originally from Russia, they settled in Harbin, China before emigrating to Israel.

Olmert was a member of the Beitar Youth Org.

His parents were often blacklisted and alienated due to their affiliation with the Jewish militia group the Irgun. They were also part of Herut, the opposition to the long-ruling Mapai party.
Olmert and eight other defendants, including former Jerusalem mayor Uri Lupolianski and former Bank Hapoalim chairman Dan Dankner, were convicted of accepting bribes in exchange for helping land developers receive municipality licenses for the Holyland Park residential project in the city.

Following an investigation, police announced that there was sufficient evidence to indict Olmert for obstruction of justice. Folling further investigations, Olmert was convicted in Jerusalem District Court of fraud, breach of trust, and tax evasion in his retrial on corruption charges over the Talansky case. The judges ruled that he had taken bribes and used the funds for personal reasons without reporting it.
