Aldi, the large discount supermarket chain, is promoting the holohoax by encouraging Brits to read about it when they go to the beach and relax in the sun.

The jews should be happy that people are being indoctrinated as they relax in the sun. but they are bitching because the advertising that is supposed to entice people to read the holohoax propaganda is "breezy" and doesn't make make "reference to the genocide of jews."   <:^0

Discount supermarket chain Aldi has been criticised for describing a Holocaust novel as "relaxing" holiday reading.

Schindler's Ark is based on the life of Czech industrialist Oskar Schindler who saved around 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust that slaughtered around half of Europe's Jewish population.

The novel, written by Australian novelist Thomas Keneally, won the prestigious Booker Prize for Fiction in 1982.

Inspired by Mr Schindler's real-life deeds, the novel in turn inspired Steven Spielberg's acclaimed 1993 historical drama film Schindler's List.

The German supermarket chain which boasts around 960 UK stores, wrote in its online description of the book: "Relax, unwind and read with the Schindler's Ark Book.

"This exciting, trending, and best-selling work of fiction is ideal for taking with you on your upcoming holiday. It's an acclaimed title that has been made into a blockbuster film!

"Discover a gripping story that will have you hooked as your body soaks in those sun rays."

Antisemitism Policy Trust director Danny Stone suggested that the book description may have been overlooked by Aldi, writing via Twitter: " Hey, @AldiUK does anyone check your book descriptions before they're published?"

"Do you think maybe a description of Schindler's Ark might feature some reference to the genocide of Jews which people are supposed to, apparently, 'relax and unwind' to?" he continued.

Other Twitter users also criticised the supposed insensitivity of describing the "harrowing" novel in such breezy terms, with one user saying "it's not a good look for your Jewish customers."

An Aldi spokesperson said: "We are very sorry for this error and any offence caused. We have immediately removed this product from sale whilst we update our website."

Tell you what, AM, you describe something that pretty much actually happened.

Maybe 8-9 years ago, I was in the occasional company of a 65-70-year-old management type who's not real bright, but he got a college degree and prospered in the post-war boom, and likes to talk about it.  Favorite phrase:  it's better to be lucky than good.

The Christmas about that time, he went to the Dominican Republic (maybe it was Puerto Rico) on vacation, and, the next time I saw him I asked him about his trip.  It went something like this:

QuoteWhaddya do?

Read a lot, on the balcony.

Whaddya read?

Anne Frank's Diary.  [NO SHIT.]

Did you believe it?

Asshole sorta wrinkled up his face a bit, like maybe he wasn't sure, or didn't want to acknowledge he didn't believe it, or didn't want to discuss it, or...who knows.

Anyway, I took the opportunity to tell him a few things - it was written in ballpoint, camps were work camps, gas chambers were for fumigation, stuff like that - which he managed to sit through, without betraying too much about his "thinking."

So, a few months later, he was a bit into his scotch, and, a few people were gathered around talking, and I said something that he didn't quite like - not too difficult - and out it comes:  You're an "anti-semite."

Obviously, he didn't take too kindly to my educating him about the holohoax - he's a manager, and his wife's a teacher, after all - and was saving up that attack.

Absolutely true.  Pretty close to exactly what you said: he was sunning himself in the Caribbean reading Anne Frank's diary.

His wife was an elementary school teacher, so I assumed it was part of her required curriculum to teach that shit, and maybe it ended up in her suitcase for her work, and he happened to read it.

But, now, I wonder if he found it in the airport book store.

A Jewish Bullshit Bookstore.
