Forum of Young Global Leaders, or Young Global Leaders (YGL), was created by Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum in 1993 under the name "Global Leaders for Tomorrow" and was renamed to Young Global Leaders in 2004.

The Young Global Leaders, or Forum of Young Global Leaders is a deep state recruitment network launched by Klaus Schwab in 2004. Scores, perhaps even hundreds of its members, like those of the Bilderberg group have assumed key positions in the COVID-19 event.

Deep state recruitment networks are one of those ways. They are onramps onto careers as deep state operatives, providing a chance not only to train up but also — to a certain extent — to evaluate and filter out those whose personal qualities make then unsuitable for admission to deep state groups.

For over a century, deep states have been using public-facing, formal recruitment networks. Typically, they are funded by a wealthy patron, and consist of funding given to a group of young and highly talented people for a specific period. To draw from a large pool of candidates, they must be publicly visible.

Schools and universities have an assortment of scholarships to enable the poor but talented to advance, providing a natural cover for deep state recruitment networks, which invariably have a mission statement extolling the "philanthropy" of their expansive patron.

Since these operations invite only the most promising young people, membership was traditionally worn as a badge of pride and a sign of great talent. Deep state recruitment networks have a very specific purpose and actively seek and cultivate weaknesses as well as strengths.

Both the WEF/Schwab shindigs have been sponsored by Bain & Company, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Deutsche Bank, Google, HSBC, Lazard Freres, Morgan Stanley, Publicis Groupe (Bernard Henry Levy), UBS

By 2021, the Young Leaders are starting to pop up as the top leadership of countries: French President Emmanuel Macron, New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern, the "youngest Finnish PM ever " Sanna Marin, German Health Minister during the COVID-lockdowns Jens Spahn, possible Chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock, and many others.
