HONDURAS'S KOSHER NOSTRA .......THE ROSENTHAL, GOLDSTEIN CLANS
https://nwobroadcastcorp.wordpress.com/2023/05/26/hondurass-kosher-nostra-the-rosenthal-goldstein-clans/

The Rosenthals are a Romanian-Jewish family that settled in Honduras in 1929. Its patriarch, Jaime Rosenthal Oliva, ran for president in 1985, was Vice President in the late 1980s and remains a high-ranking official in the Liberal Party. His son, Yani Benjamin Rosenthal Hidalgo, is following in his father's footsteps and ran for president in the last elections. The rest of the Rosenthals are spread throughout the family businesses.

The Goldsteins are an equally important Russian Jewish elite Honduran family They too are Jewish The head of the Goldtseins ,Gilberto Goldstein passed away in 2020 at the age of 83 Gilberto was born in San Pedro Sula on April 15, 1937, the son of Boris Goldstein and Gustava Rubinstein both Russian Jews After schooling in Honduras he was sent to the Augusta Military Academy in Virginia, United States and he later entered Wharton Upon graduation, he married Alice Goldstein, with whom he had three children: the late Mark, Lori and Deanna.

The Rosenthal and Goldstein families are also connected by marriage through Jaime's nephew Yankel Rosenthal and Gilberto's daughter.

Jaime Rosenthal is a key member of the Honduran Liberal Party, the former party of ousted President Manuel Zelaya Jaime's son Yani was appointed Minister of the Presidency when Zelaya came to power in 2006

Goldstein, on the other hand, is a backer of the National Party, a conservative political party in Honduras . Historically it has been one of the two most influential parties in the country. The party's platform is based on Christian humanist doctrine

The National Party has traditionally traded power with the Liberal Party and returned to Honduras' top office after the 2009 coup.

Thus either through the Rosenthal funded and controlled Liberal Party or the Goldstein funded and controlled National Party Honduras faces outsized influence over its body polity by two Jewish families

The latest data dump of the Panama Papers has linked two of the richest families in Honduras, both with an ambiguous position on the 2009 U.S.-backed coup that ousted President Manuel Zelaya, to offshore companies set up in tax havens through the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca.

According to Panama Papers data released by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), Rosenthal's only brother Edwin Mayer was the officer of an offshore company in the British Virgin Islands under the name Pinkenton International Corporation. One of Rosenthal's sons, Cesar Augusto, was the sole shareholder of a Panamanian entity called Renton Management S.A.

In the Panama Papers database, Gilberto Goldstein and his deceased son Mark are both listed as shareholders in the British Virgin Islands entity Melston Investment Ltd.

Yani Benjamin Rosenthal Hidalgo was sentenced to 36 months in prison for engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from drug trafficking offenses.  He pled guilty on July 26, 2017, before U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl At least 14 lawmakers from the opposition Liberal Party  reportedly urged Yani Rosenthal to run for president when he returns to the Central America nation on August 7,2020 after his release from US prison for moneylaundering according to Criterio.

A Google search for Honduras and Rosenthal leads one to a news-magazine website called Envío, an initiative of the Society of Jesus in Central America There in aa article called The rise and fall of the Rosenthal Clan (((Jesuit )))named Ismael Moreno, SJ gives his views on the Rosenthal clan

Those who know him say Jaime Rosenthal has a justly earned fame of being an businessman with a progressive, nationalist and social vision. In the late sixties, those traits placed him in conflict with the Arab business sector, which at the time controlled commerce and politics in San Pedro Sula. This conflict was especially strong with Jorge Larach, owner of La Prensa, the main national newspaper.

This stigma comes not only from the Rosenthals' connections with drug trafficking, but also for being part of a bourgeoisie with nationalist and progressive traits, one that decided to invest and produce within the country. This leaves them out of step with the rest of the country's oligarchic elite, who are servile to the multinationals, fearful of investing and risking production capital within the country and always parasites of the State. The permanent quarrels between the Rosenthals and the Arabs, who currently lead this parasitic oligarchy, have come to an end with this war of extermination.

The Rosenthals are neither more nor less criminal, more nor less involved with drug money than the Arabs and other members of the Honduran business elite. The other Honduran banks launder just as much money as the Banco Continental did and possibly more, but they have more capacity than the Rosenthals did to negotiate with criminals, the banking sector and US capital.

Is Moreno a Jesuit Priest or a (crypto) Hasbara troll???
