Keep in mind that the Mossad's Talpiot Operatives have pioneered the use of Phonemic mapping with algorithmic Voice Analysis of speakers to create a near flawless instant "mimic" at will. You can have anybody say anything over the line.  In fact, this was probably used during the Mumbai attack just as it was on 9/11.   On 9/11,  the phone calls that took place between passengers and their loved ones were likely faked entirely - they didn't have very direct and meaningful conversations during the attack since the "speakers" were likely Mossad Talpiot operatives over riding the phone lines.  Likely the same thing occurred here between Pakistan and India the other day. See the spooks resume at the bottom of this article. These are who we are really fighting, remember that. If anything you are likely going to get the real thing with encrypted VOIP.  Clinton always said he was bugged, why not the Indian and Pakistani presidents?

Not hoax call, claims Pak
KT NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, Dec 7: Pakistan Friday night asserted that the threatening call to its President Zardari on November 28 was put out from "a verified official Phone Number of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs" and blamed the Indian High Commission in Islamabad for trying to paint it as a hoax call.
"The identity of this particular call, as evident from the CLI (caller identity) device, showed that the call was placed from a verified official Phone Number of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs", Pakistan Information and Broadcasting Minister Sherry Rehman claimed in a written statement issued in Islamabad and also circulated in Delhi.
She also blamed indirectly an Indian High Commission official for planting a report in the Pakistani media that it was a hoax call and condemned "efforts aimed at using media for negative diplomacy at a time when tensions are running high between Indian and Pakistan." According to her, the report in Pakistani English daily 'Dawn' that some imposter called up Zardari, posing himself to be External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, was "based on a briefing given to a few journalists by a responsible senior official of a neighbouring country based in Islamabad."
Pointing out that all calls received in the Presidency are processed in accordance with an intricately laid down procedure and as such "it is not possible for any call to come through to the President without multiple caller identity verifications," she said the call under reference too was "processed, verified and crosschecked under the same procedure."
Won't Send Officials: Pakistan's civil and military leadership has decided against sending representatives of key institutions, including the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) spy agency, to India until New Delhi provides concrete evidence of their involvement in the Mumbai terror attacks, a news agency reported.
The decision came during a meeting Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani chaired with the country's top civil and military leadership on Saturday.
During the meeting, Gilani said that Pakistan was ready to unconditionally cooperate in the probe into the Mumbai attacks but India still had not responded positively to the offer.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar, Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and ISI chief Lt Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha were among those who attended the meeting, held at the Prime Minster House.
According to reliable sources, Kayani and Pasha apprised the leadership about the security situation in the wake of the Mumbai attacks and the international reaction to this.
Gilani further stated that Pakistan did not have any aggressive designs against any country and wanted cordial and friendly relations with all countries, including India. The levelling of baseless allegations of Islamabad's involvement in the Mumbai attacks must stop, he added.
According to sources, the Prime Minister said that the government would defend every inch of the country's soil and those who cast an evil eye on Pakistan would face an appropriate response.
The meeting also decided to deal with anti-state elements with an iron hand and to further strengthen country's defence, the agency said.
Hoax call creates India, Pak diplomatic row
KT NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, Dec 7: The mysterious threatening "hoax" call to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has started another diplomatic row between India and Pakistan in the already tense situation in the wake of Mumbai militant attack.
Otherwise a calm Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday lost his cool rubbishing reports that he had made a threatening phone call to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari after Mumbai strikes, He regretted that Islamabad was giving credibility to a "hoax" call. He further regretted that Islamabad resorted to confusing the public by releasing the story in part.
Claiming that it was a bid to divert attention from the fact that Pakistani elements had launched "attack on India", Mukherjee flayed Pakistan for putting its military on alert after the call. He clarified that he had last talked to Zardari during his visit to Islamabad in May and that the reports about his telephonic call to the Pakistan President after the Mumbai terror strikes were "misleading".
"We were informed by friends from third countries that Pakistan President Zardari believed that he had received a threatening telephone call from me on November 28, after the attack on Mumbai," Mukherjee said in a statement in New Delhi.
"We immediately clarified to those friends, and we also made it clear to the Pakistan authorities, that I had made no such telephone call," the minister said.
Mukherjee said the only telephonic conversation that he has had with a Pakistani leader since the attack on Mumbai was on the evening of November 28 when he spoke to Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who was then in New Delhi.
"It is, however, worrying that a neighbouring state might even consider acting on the basis of such a hoax call, try to give it credibility with other states, and confuse the public by releasing the story in part," Mukherjee said.
"I can only ascribe this series of events to those in Pakistan who wish to divert attention from the fact that a terrorist group operating from the Pakistani territory, planned and launched a ghastly attack on Mumbai," said External Affairs Ministry.

After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan

I'm fairly sure that this sort of technology not only exist but has been perfected.  Those motivated by a desire to deceive have an incentive to work hard on perfecting such technologies. It's not their ingenuity that give rise to such technological 'advancements' but that motivation to be deceptive. The world of the Mossad, CIA, MI6 and so on is a wilderness of smoke and mirrors where nothing is as it seems.
"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as \'international bankers.\' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen, seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection."
