Totally agree in my empirical experiment of n=1. Too much soy when I was a vegetarian fucked me up.

I used to make my porridge with soymilk (I'm lactose-intolerant, you see) but when I heard about the dangers of soy I quickly dropped that habit and traded soymilk for ricemilk (I now also add the extremely healthy coconut milk to my morning gooey). I have been feeling a lot better since and haven't looked back one second.

I used to consume a lot of Soy "Milk". I should rather say Soy Juice, cause Milk comes from mammary glands.

This page made my head spin.

I'm avoiding soy products for the next month at least, possibly forever. I'll write something up if I notice anything in particular.

There is hot debate on this topic. It looks like this info came from one source and has been spread across the internet in a spectacular viral marketing scam.
It all started with an article by Kaayla Daniel who is on the board of Western A price. This organisation has long promoted meat (albeit grass fed meat) and Milk (of the raw unpasteurised variety), the growing popularity of soy would effect both these industries.

The biggest claim of the phytoestrogens interfering with hormone levels and making men gay is rubbish. Phytoestrogens are 2% as potent as estrogen and most likely regulate the estrogen level rather than elevating it. I have seen the article by Kaayla Daniel debunked convincingly sentance by sentance.

I am no biologist or dietrician (nor would I listen to one!), but this subject is nowhere near clear cut try googling soy disinfo.
