Sep. 11th Terror Attack on the United States

On Tuesday, Elul 23 5761, Sep 11th 2001, in the afternoon (Israel time), the United States of America has been attacked with an airstrike of four hijacked planes by Islamic terrorists. As a result of this attack, the huge twin towers of the World Trade Center in NY have collapsed (afterwards a third tower, WTC7, also collapsed), and a whole side of the American ministry of defense, the Pentagon, has been destroyed. Thousands of people believed to have died in these incidents.

The ancient Prophets

We are all familiar with the repeated idea with the ancient Jewish prophets, which is summarized by Isiah (40,4) that before the "revelation" of HaShem's (G-d) glory:

"Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low. The crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth"
And as we know, the mountains that are mentioned are not only natural mountains, but also artificial, as prophet Zechariah mentions (6,1):

"Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains [made] of bronze"

But is that the meaning? Does this tells us that the latter days had arrived. Here is what prophet Isiah says (30,25):

"In the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall"

And now, let's get into the real stuff:

The Zohar: 3 high places shall fall down, and
the Palace of Strength shall fall at the month of Elul

The Holy Zohar at the 'Balak' Parasha (Page 212) talks about many matters that are supposed to happen at the latter days. Among other things the Zohar tells us that in the Hebrew month of Elul (which is the 6th Hebrew month according to the Biblical count), within 25 first days of the month, 3 high places will fall in one city.

The terrorist attack on the US came on Elul 23rd (within the first 25 days...), and it made the two highest towers, the WTC (World Trade Center) twin towers, collapse. Later in the same day WTC7, the 47 storey tower near the twin towers, also collapsed. And we see that that three high places in the same city fell-down on the same day, during the first 25 days of Elul, as the Zohar predicted almost 2000 years ago. Amazing!

Not only that, but also the Zohar tells us that the Palace of Strength (the Hebrew phrase 'HECHAL HAOZ' is hard to translate) will also fall-down in the same day. But the Zohar does not say that this will happen in the same city. And we saw the "Palace of Strength" of the United States, which is obviously the Pentagon, attacked by terrorists, causing a big part of it collapse in that same day. And that is truly amazing.

The Zohar continues, and tells us that some time after this will happen a "king that rules in the world" (George W. Bush?) will initiate a war, and there will be an earthquake in Israel. On the same day when the war on Afghanistan started, there was an earthquake in Israel, which is very rare in Israel.

The Zohar continues about what's next...

And this is a non-formal translation of the Zohar words to English:

And in the sixth day, shall be seen within 25 days of the sixth
month (Hebrew month of Elul) and shall gather on the seventh
day at the end of 70 days.

In the first day it will be seen in one city, and at that day three
high places shall fall down in that city. And the Palace of Strength
shall fall down. And the ruler of that city (i.e. the angel that is
responsible for this city in the upper worlds) shall die.

And then that star shall be spreaded to be shown in the world.
And at that time there shall be harsh battles stimulated in all
4 directions and faith shall not be found among them.

...One king shall rise, big and ruling in the world, shall rise over
all the kings, and shall stimulate battles in 2 directions, and will
overcome them.

And... the holy land shall tremble (i.e. earthquake) 45 miles away
from the place where the Temple used to be.

And one cave shall be revealed (bin-Laden's shelter?) beneath the
earth. And from that cave a big fire shall emerge to burn the
world (nuclear weapon?).

And from that same cave shall emerge a huge superior bird (plane?)
that will rule the whole world, and the kingship will be given
to him.

And the 'saints of the highest' (a nickname for the people of Israel)
shall gather against him, and the Messiah King shall be revealed,
and HE shall be granted the kingship.

And the people, at the time when he is revealed, shall be in
one trouble after another. And those who hate Israel shall
become stronger. And then the spirit of the Messiah shall be
awakened on them, and he shall destroy sinful Edom and will
burn all of their land in fire.

Then it is written (Numbers 24,18): "Israel does valiantly". This
is the meaning of what's written (there): "And Edom shall
be a possession, Seir also, his enemies, shall be a
possession".

And at that time, HaShem (G-d) shall awake the deads of his
people, and death will be forgotten from them. This is the
meaning of what's written (in Psalms 118,16-17):
"The right of HaShem (G-d) does valiantly. I shall not die,
but live". And it is written (in Obadiah 1,21): "Then saviors
shall rise" etc., and then: "and HaShem (G-d) shall become
King".

Exodus

As we know, the Jewish ancient writings have 4 different meanings, called in Hebrew "PARDES" (an acronym for Pshat-Remez-Drash-Sod):

      Literal Meaning (PSHAT)
Clue, hint, implication . A different meaning of the literal meaning, that gives us hints and clues about something different (REMEZ)
Deep interpretation, which also differs from the literal meaning, based on the changing the meaning of the words and the way they are read to another meaning (DRASH)
Secret. This is the kabalistic meaning of the text, which is interpreted according to Kabbalah tools (SOD)
Baring this in mind, we will take a look at Exodus 26, 24. The verse may be interpreted from Hebrew to English this way:

And there shall be twins from beneath
And together they shall be destroyed
Onto its head
To the one ring
So shall be for both of them
It shall be for the two sides

WTC complex sketch
(English formal translations are useless here, because their translation is based on context, and doesn't cling to the original words. from Hebrew: TOAMIM written w/o vowels is TEOMIM=twins; TAMIM means also destroyed; Mikzot=sides, not corners)

This hardly needs interpretation: 2 Twins will be on earth (i.e. the WTC Twin Towers), and their destruction will be at the same time, and it will be from the "head" of it (i.e., will be destroyed from above, even though we might have thought that if they will be destroyed it will be from beneath) to the ring (probably talking about the 'Tobin Plaza' beneath WTC, which has a ring shape. Also ring in Hebrew is "TABAAT" which is close to "TOBIN"), and since the verse says "head of it" we might have thought that only one of them will be destroyed from above, so the verse continues: "so shall be for both of them". And we get also the exact location of the twin towers in the WTC complex: "the two sides". As shown in the official sketch to the right of screen, only the Twin towers are in sides of the complex, all the rest are corners. Amazing!

The complete list of dates (?)

The book of Haggai is one of the shortest books of prophets in the Bible. He who looks literally in the book thinks that it talks about events before the establishment of the 2nd Temple. But he who looks deeper, and so is the Zohar's opinion, the verse at Haggai 2,9: "The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former" shows that this is a prophecy for the future.

The book includes a few dates. The most vague date is Elul 24th (at Haggai 1,15: "on the twenty forth day of the sixth month (Elul)"), and that's because nothing is written that is suppose to happen in this date.

Viewers of the Christian version of Haggai might not pay attention to the fact that this date is vague, because it appears at the end of Chapter 1. The dividing of the Bible to chapters was a late division done by Christians. The more ancient, and accurate division is the Jewish division to PARASHAs. According to this division, Parasha 4 begins at Haggai 1,15 (and ends at Haggai 2,5), and reads as follows:

On the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month, in the second year of King Darius.
In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month, the word of the HaShem came by Haggai the prophet, saying: Speak now ...

So the Jewish version further demonstrates that this date has a special meaning. At the night of this date, Elul 24th, the United States had declared official state of war, and recruited the whole world to this war.

Now we understand. This is the key to the dates mentioned in Haggai. It means that the dates are for the war.

The next date that is written is Tishrey 21st ("In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month"), the date of the Jewish holy-day "Hosha-na-Raba" (=deliver us please, oh Great One). At the exact night of Tishrey 21st - the war in Afghanistan began! Amazing !!

Nevertheless, Haggai 2, 6 adds about Tishrey 21st: "For thus says HaShem of hosts: Once more I will shake heaven and earth the sea and dry land". At Tishrey 21st there was an earthquake in Israel (Less than 5 on the Richter scale). It source was in the Arava, in South Israel ("dry land").

The next date given is Kislev 24th (Haggai 2,10).

Afterwards (not clear if it is on the same date, or on the 24th of another month), it is written that HaShem says (Haggai 2, 21-22):

I am shaking heaven and earth.
I am overthrowing the throne of kingdoms;
I am destroying the strength of the Gentile kingdoms.
I am overthrowing the chariots
And those who ride in them;
The horses and their riders shall come down,
Every one by the sword of his brother

This description is of the end of the Gog and Magog war. The latest phrase: "one by the sword of his brother" emphasizes it, since the same is written at Ezekiel's prophecy of Gog and Magog war, on Ezekiel 38,21: "Every man's sword will be against his brother".

In Hebrew Haggai says: "ISH BE HEREV AHIV". Ezekiel says: "HEREV ISH BE AHIV". The same words. The same war.

The HAFTARAH of the week of the attack

In Jewish synagogues, every week a HAFTARAH is being read by the public, and was set in Jewish Halacha thousands of years ago. This is usually a small part from the Old Testament, which has been set thousands of years ago. On the week of the attack the HAFTARAH was Isiah 63. It reads:

Who is this who comes from Edom,
With dyed garments from Bozrah,
This One who is glorious in His apparel,
Traveling in the greatness of His strength?

"I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."

Why is Your apparel red,
And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

"I have trodden the winepress alone,
And from the peoples no one was with Me.
So I have trodden them in My anger,
And trampled them in My fury;
Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,
And I have stained all My robes.
For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.
I looked, but there was no one to help,
And I wondered
That there was no one to uphold;
Therefore My arm brought salvation for Me;
And My own fury, it sustained Me.
I have trodden down the peoples in My anger,
Made them drunk in My fury,
And brought down their strength to the earth."

This amazing Haftarah, about the Latter Days, was read by some Jewish religious people (which read 'Hok Le-Israel') daily at the week of the attack. The other read it together in the synagogue on the Shabath of the week of the attack.

The interpretation of the Haftarah is simple:

Who is this who comes from Edom ...?

Edom is always refered in Jewish literature as a Christian Empire (because the people of Edom were exiled by the Assyrian king to Rome, they later become the Romans, and at a later stage adopted the Christian belief as the official Roman religion). So the question is - who comes from the Christian Empire, wearing clothes with blood on them? And the answer:

For the day of vengeance is in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come.

The Hebrew year of 5752 was one week away from Sep 11th. This is the year when the Jews will be delivered. And that's the reasoning given.

By no means the implication is not that the terrorist act was an act of Ha-Shem (G-d), but the total destruction and the collapse of the twin towers at WTC must have been made by an intervention from Above, since no one thought that the whole building would collapse (not to mention both of them), even after they were hit (this is why so many rescue forces were killed in the collapse).

And the question is: Why in the United States, which is a friend of the Jewish state. and the answer is given -

I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold.

The RADAK (acronym for Rabbi David Kimhy) interpreted this verse hundreds of years ago like this: HaShem (G-d) watches Israel in their trouble (in this case, tens and hundreds of terrorists attacks against Jews in Israel and abroad. There are wounded and killed Israelis almost on a daily basis, men women and little children), and HaShem (G-d) looks around to check whether there is a nation in the world that wants to help Israel, but no one wants to help them. So HaShem (G-d) himself take vengeance from the nations.

That was the RADAK's interpretation. If we adjust the interpretation to the current events, We would see that HaShem (G-d) saw the not only the nations do not help Israel in the war against terror, but also urging Israel no to retaliate and not to kill terrorist leaders, because it is "improper". So HaShem (G-d) had given the strike to the same nation that urged Israel not to retaliate, and condemned Israel's targeted killing of terrorist leaders. Now this nation asks other nations to join her with war against terrorism, and targeting terrorist leaders, and killing (by mistake) hundreds of citizens...

And brought down their strength to the earth

Very simple. WTC twin towers, and the Pentagon - symbols of pride and strength of the US were brought down to the earth.

The 'prophecies' of the Ben-Ish-Hay

Haham Yosef Hayim (the 'Ben-Ish-Hay') Z.Z.U.K.L. who lived in Baghdad some 150 years ago, and was a great rabbi in Kabbalah Halacha Talmud and all, wrote commentary on Psalms named "Life and Peace", where he writes commentaries of Psalms by the PARDES (the 4 meaning of the text), and writes many signs of what will happen in the Latter Days:

The severe blow that was transferred to another nation
Psalms 55,19:

G-d will hear, and answer them,
And will bring it back as before
Because do not have a replacement,
And they do not fear G-d

This is his commentary:

If there is a severe blow that is supposed to come on Israel (that was sentenced by HaShem: 'GZERA'), to be handed over to another nation, to be killed and looted for their sins, and then they repented, and the repentance priored to the creation of the world, the severe blow will be canceled.

But - if the nation (that Israel was supposed to get the blow from) knows HaShem (G-d) and respect Him, and believes in Him, then HaShem (G-d) will allow this nation to give its blow to another nation, as a replacement for Israel. And this is what's written "G-d will hear and answer them" - answer Israel to cancel the severe blow, because they repented "back as before" - since they did repentance that priored to the creation of the world.

This commentary is amazing because:

A) The timing that is written: 'before the creation of the world'. The date of the creation of the world is Elul 25th. The date of the attach was Elul 23rd. The attack came 'before the creation of the world'

B) The interesting implication: This blow was supposed to come, G-d forbids, on Israel. But because of the many people who repented at the last period, the blow was transferred to another nation.

C) The blow was suppose to be given by a nation that "knows and respects" HaShem (G-d). If a blow was supposed to come to Israel, it must have been by the nation of Islam. Since Islam believes in HaShem (G-d) and that there is only one G-d, the blow was not canceled but was transferred to another nation "as a replacement for Israel". As a KAPARA.

The Shomer-Emunim Admo"r
(Rabbi Daniel Zer SHLITA)

The Rabbi of Shomer Emunim, a holy man living in the Israeli city of Bney-Brak, had said two weeks before the terrorist attack on the US:

America is going to pay a high price for not allowing Israel to respond over the terrorist killing against her.

HaShem (G-d) does not like to see his sons (Israel) beaten.

Two week later - the attack on the US came. Was this the price that the Rabbi meant?

Some "advice" for the "Chosen" and the "Goyim":

----------
What to do now?

After we have established by various, different sources that the time of the ultimate redemption is very near, comes the clear question - what shall be done now. As it is well known, the final redemption also means the final judgement of the world by HaShem. Those who are not worthy will be severely punished, rather than delivered, as the Tanach notes several times (Isiah 66,24; Malachi 3,19-21; Amos 5,18 and more).

And the simple question is - how will we become worthy of HaShem's deliverance. The answer divides to 2 parts. An answer for non-Jews, and an answer for Jews.

Non-Jews

Whether you are Christian or Moslem, Hindu or Buddhist, whether you have a religion or not: You have just seven commandments (not related to the ten commandments) to keep.

Keep them - and HaShem will gladly grant you the reward of the days of the Messiah, which is indescribable. Although the reward is less than the one that Jews are supposed to get - one should bare in mind that Jews have 613 commandments to keep, not just seven, so it is a fair deal (BTW: After the Messiah arrives, no one will be allowed to convert to Judaism, so if you have plans, do it quickly, and be rest assured, that HaShem loves the ones who convert to Judaism more than the Jews themselves).

The commandments that non-Jews should keep are those given to Adam, and then to Noah after the flood, and they are simple:

1. Not to eat an organ from a living creature

Simple, and no one in his right mind (except for Satanists) does this. You should not cut an organ from a living creature and eat it. You should not eat any organ of a creature if the creature is still alive.

If you did so, address HaShem and repent.

2. Not to "bless" HaShem ("bless" means here: curse)

Also simple. You must not do that, under any circumstance.

If you did so, address HaShem and repent.

3. Not to be involved in bloodshed

The simple commandment of "Thou shall not kill". To simplify things, you should not kill anyone, unless you are in a clear and present danger from someone who is going to murder you in a moment if you won't inflict wounds on him. Killing innocent people is of- course forbidden, even if you think that this will be done for HaShem. HaShem does not need your assistance if He wants to kill someone. Put it for him, and you - keep his seven commandments.

The commandments is also valid for not killing fetus in his mother's womb.

If you did so, address HaShem and repent.

4. Incest

You should not have any sexual contact with the followings: your mother, your father's wife, any married woman, your sister (from your mother), male with male, anyone with an animal. You should also not have any sexual contact with anyone that your father had sexual contact - even if he raped here or seduced her in an unacceptable manner. Also - sexual relation between a non-Jewish male to Jewish female are forbidden according to the Bible, unless the male converted to Judaism.

5. Law system with judges

This is a commandment for the non-Jewish nations, to keep a law system with judges that will enforce these commandments and other laws that it makes for the public's benefit.

6. Stealing, Robbery etc. is forbade

Simply - You should never take what's not yours without permission, even if it is of low value.

7. Worshiping not to HaShem (G-d) is strictly forbade

You should never worship to anyone or anything but the Creator who created the earth and the heavens. Your prayers should be addressed exclusively to Him. You should never bow to anything or anyone. Not a statue, not a creature, not a human, in any form, as it is explicitly written in the Bible in the Ten Commandments (on Exodus 20,3-4 and Deuteronomy 5,7-8).

Bowing before a cross, or before a statue of a human figure, in churches or in other places, is strictly forbidden, and is an act that enrages HaShem the most. This is a matter that was never allowed by HaShem. Even the first generations of Christians did not do that (but rather kept all Jewish commandments). Only later a Roman emperor said that is ok, based on nothing. If you bow or worship for anyone, or anything besides the Creator of the earth and the heavens, which is HaShem - you will be punished severely at the judgement day that is very near.

Also, worshiping for HaShem while believing He is a trinity, which means divided to three rather than one ("Hear-o-Israel, HaShem is G-d, HaShem is ONE") that cannot be divided, might be even more angering than a Hindu who worships hundreds of statues. Because the Hindu doesn't know or believes in the Bible, but those who talks about trinity have the whole Old Testament before their eyes, and they believe it is true - so their sin is greater.

Now about Moslems - Those of you who say that Islam believes in the one G-d, but Jews worship another, are (besides making your own Quran false) in fact worshiping another G_d, since you claim that HaShem is one to be worshiped, and Al-ah is in another, which establishes that there is more than one, and you are not worshiping THE one.

Anyone who does keep all these seven commandments, is safe, and will be granted the reward in the days of the Messiah. Those who do not keep them, are destined for indescribable punishments real soon. If you did not keep them in the past, know that HaShem still loves you: Repent, and stop doing so in the future, and trust in HaShem's mercy.

Jews

If you are Jewish, whether you are religious or not - you should repent. Repentance is not done at a single time. It is a process. But you have to make the decision, that "from now on, I am going to get closer to HaShem".

Those who are religious Jews, should repent in the "internal" matters of Judaism (TIKUN MIDOTH), such as "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Leviticus 19,18) or not to say bad things about your fellows (Lashon Ha-Ra) or "go in HaShem's ways" (Deuteronomy 11,22) which means to try to be as merciful as HaShem, as forgiving as HaShem, as loving as HaShem etc. In short, take a good book of Jewish Mussar, read it - and act by it. Also, the great rabbis have instructions Jews allover the world to read everyday Psalms 83, 130 and 142. Read it. And repent for anything you did which was against HaShem's commandments.

We should remind that the Talmud talks strongly against he who does not work to change his bad character.

Those who are not religious Jews, should get closer to HaShem by any way they can:

    *
Go to Kol Shofar site for understanding more about Judaism
    *
Don't violate the Shabath in public (as a first stage), which means do not drive in Shabath and do not talk in public in cellular phone. Know that the Shabath has the weight of all the commandments as both Talmud and Zohar states. So as fast as you can - try not to violate the Shabath even at your own residence.
    *
Put on your Tefilin once a day (not on Shabbath).
    *
Buy a Jewish Law book, such as Kitzur Shulhan Aruch, and try to do anything possible to you from what's written there.
    *
Read "Shema Israel" verses, twice a day: morning and evening.
    *
Begin to pray "Tefilath 18" as printed in the Jewish prayer books.
    *
If you're a married woman, go to the MIKVE after 7 days after the monthly period is over (the time may vary, ask a rabbi or buy a Jewish law book).
    *
Read at least one Psalms chapter at a day. It can be any chapter, or one of the three: 83, 130 or 142.
    *
Read in the original text of the book of Zohar, which cleans the soul from its sins. You can download the Zohar for free from Bnei Baruch organization.
    *
Read the parasha of the incense (KTORET), as printed in Jewish prayer books (The prayer of Mincha, starting at "ATA HU HASHEM" and ending at "SHANIM KADMONYOTH")

In short - just do anything to get close to HaShem, and repent for what you did wrong in the past. HaShem is merciful. He loves any human being, and has a special care for the people of Israel. If HaShem sees that you try good enough - you will be rewarded.

Prophecy and Humility - Berakhot 34

In the ancient world, where humanity had much less control over its own fate, anything could be taken as a sign. While Rabbinic Judaism sharply reduced the number of divine powers giving signs from early polytheism to one, they certainly looked for signs. If one recited a prayer or a blessing and made a mistake, it might well be a bad sign of something to come (Obama?). One rabbi in the Mishnah text discussed in today's page would pray for the sick and predict who would live and who would die by how smoothly the prayer came out. Today we might think of recitation mistakes in terms of "Freudian slips" instead, where a verbal stumble reveals a psychological truth or difficulty from the past rather than a sign about the future.

When Talmudic rabbis from later generations relate similar stories of the predictive power of smoothly-pronounced prayer, they deny that they are prophets, and say instead that it's just the truth of their experience – proven here two legendary anecdotes. How many fluent prayers made no difference in illness or death? Statistics are not provided here, nor would one expect them to be. In a world where one debates how many times and how to bow to God in prayer, such counter-arguments are beyond the acceptable parameters.

The denial that the Rabbis are prophets is not only consistent with the Rabbinic belief that prophecy in Israel had ended centuries before, but also connected to their emphasis on humility. When asked to pass before the Ark (where the Torah is kept), one should refuse once, hesitate when asked a second time, and only the third time "stretch one's legs" and go rather than rush up (over)confident in one's purity. And in a very folksy way of putting it, they get at the point that a little humility is a good thing: "[There are] 3 things of which a lot is difficult and a little is beautiful: yeast, salt, and refusal." Bowing may be too much, but a little refusal can go a long way.
