 Ben Friedman says:
I'd say it's a pretty big elephant in the room when you want to talk about the ethics of the conflict.

Another issue: calling Jews nazis and comparing their military actions to the Holocaust is a grossly inconsiderate thing to do. At the very least, it marks a significant lack of civility, and an unwillingness to relate to Jews as fellow human beings.

Dig deep down and consider how it would feel with the shoe on the other foot. And for the record, I am opposed to many of the military actions of the IDF, but I do not see that as a reason to ignore Israel's existential threates by turning a blind eye to the intent of the wider Muslim world.

Considering there is no wide current of genocidal intent against any muslim community in Israel or the larger Jewish world, and very much a major current in the other direction, the vile appropriation of Holocaust terminology to describe Jewish action is both ironic, imprecise, and loathsome.
After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan
