I think we're one of the best if not the best forum for news and information.....(Don't want to brag)

I had this crazy idea about doing a documentary on social networking sites, facebook especially.

Since I'm studying the law and law of contracts I thought this could be a real eye-opener for all members here and for others to learn about contract law.

It's just a thought right now but maybe it can manifest into something.....

Let me know what you think and if you want to contribute, don't hesitate to ask. This is a learning experience for everyone.

Thats a good idea! Most of these social net sites are used for nefarious purposes. In the end, CIA, Mossad etc get ahold of this data.

Some ideas:
- FB/Myspace are repositories of personal data that most security agencies had to kill to get... now they get it for free
- employers regularly check FB/MS and reject candidates for what they see there
- what you say/do/post on FB is forever. Someone will have a copy of it even if you delete it and could use it against you.
- insurance companies and other organizations like HMOs are crawling these sites and archiving the data
- FB is owned by a Zionist and major investor has ties to CIA
- just because you have a link to someone could land you in jail as an 'accomplice' to other people's crimes.
- by using FB you are exposing yourself to bad habits: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... ntist.html
- FB is not a place for private things: http://techdirt.com/articles/20090226/0223173913.shtml a simple court order will reveal to gov everything you thought was private.

Excellent info. I'll do my research as is necessary. I think it is also worth mentioning what exactly these 'terms' and 'conditions' of holding these accounts are. From what I understand, 99% of the people who sign up for these accounts don't even read them. ITS A CONTRACT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD  :!:  :!:  :!:
