it is my contention that weldon wants war in iran using his suitcase nukes with a post apocalyptic deployment of a Global Talon system. Then the zionists will simply kill us all, except the so called chosen i imagine.

Meanwhile, a lower power HF laser was used for the THEL (Tactical High Energy Laser) built in the late 1990s for the Israeli Ministry of Defense in cooperation with the U.S. Army SMDC.

Given the large and growing space assets of the United States, which include important early warning and communication satellities,11 continued neglect of the U.S. -Soviet ASAT asymmetry might increasingly imperil the American strategic posture. A symmetrizing response, which may be both technologically elegant and politically discreet, corresponds to air-based laser ASAT weapons.

The second point is much more subtle. If effective laser antisatellite weapons were deployed on large aircraft by both superpowers, the temptation to strike first might grow. Both sides might perceive that important advantages could be gained by preempting the opposition during a developing crisis. Space might be viewed as an attractive arena for early hostilities that demonstrate resolve during such a crisis without being 100 provocative. Moreover, once long-range laser ASAT weapons enter the strategic scene, laser antiballistic missile (ARM) concepts (which may or may not be space-based) cannot be far behind.

On May 17, 1998, Lebed won the election for the governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia's second largest region.

He served as the governor of Krasnoyarsk until his death in a controversial helicopter crash on April 28, 2002, popular with the military to the last. The official cause of the crash was the collision of the helicopter with electric lines during foggy weather in the Sayan Mountains. His death is surrounded by several conspiracy theories.

Lunev asserted that some of the hidden caches could contain portable tactical nuclear weapons known as RA-115 "suitcase bombs". Such bombs have been prepared to assassinate US leaders in the event of war, according to him [1] Lunev states that he had personally looked for hiding places for weapons caches in the Shenandoah Valley area[1] and that "it is surprisingly easy to smuggle nuclear weapons into the US" either across the Mexican border or using a small transport missile that can slip undetected when launched from a Russian airplane
