This is amazing! I had the same association with that Dali picture when I started studying Fomenko's books, The Medieval Empire of the Israelites, Edwin Johnson's books, Scaliger etc. several years ago. Unbelievable...

The Medieval Empire of the Israelites is thought provoking but I would say that it is worthless since there are no references cited. Fomenko's books are more compelling but difficult to verify. Additionally, myself and Savage have questions about Fomenko's motives.

Fomenko sounds like a real Kosher name

I don't know if he is Jewish but there are real reasons to question his research. However, some of his insights are veritable and shocking.

No, he is not jewish. Fomenko is a fairly common Ukranian surname, from what I know.
His team, however, apart from his wife, seem to be predominately jewish. But that again doesn't really matter because:
a) he is representing original sources from libraries which most of the people don't have access to,
b) Soviet jews are the most assimilated jews of all. When they emigrate to Israel, they keep eating pork and they don't mix up much with the "Western" jews.
Fomenko's weakest point is his linguistic theories. And his conclusions are sometimes ridiculous and laughable, but overall, there is nothing like his books on the market yet. Besides, nothing is 100 % reliable. You will have to weed through any textbook to get a page, sentence or sometimes no useful information at all.

Btw, I have joined this forum sometime ago but was too busy to post. Have been aware of what is going on in this world for a while now and came across DBS a couple of years ago. I have send him a small donations a couple of times and when E.H. erased his files, I was the one who sent him the interviews (back-ups).

Fomenko suggests that Revelations was written in the 1486, October 1st. According to him and others Revelation was a poetic rendition of the way old astronomers used to describe celestial events. Using the descriptions in Revelation they then plotted the sky as described in Revelation. Since Stars and planets have predictable trajectories they then used star charts and a computer program call turbo sky 2000 to map out when the celestial events of revelations occurred.  They came up with several possible dates and the date most likely to be was 1486, October 1st. Incidentally, this seems supported by other interesting facts.  Apparently 1492 was 7,000 years from Adam and the end of the world. Anyway assuming this were true this would have profound implications on our religious beliefs. Another myth in history is the Mongol Yoke. Basically Genghis Khan conquered the world from horse back. However, the G. Khan needed iron making technology to make iron horse shoes to conquer the world.  Horse shoes are a really big deal since horses tend to damage their hooves when stressed to perform and not protected. Coal and iron smelting really started about 1450s. So this technology developed about 200 years after G. Khan and the boys kicked every bodies ass on shoeless horses. G. Khan is a myth.

Man this is the kind of eye for detail I can appreciate. I'll have to look into this more carefully. It makes me think of when I was first exposed to the data regarding the Van Allen Belts and the far reaching implications regarding conventional space travel for humans.

Keep it coming Latin...
