Matthew 22:  36-40
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him.  Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Definitely inspirational.

If that's not enough, go on iTunes and look for The Competitors Radio podcast with Rudy Garcia-Tolson. Rudy was born with multiple birth defects including webbed fingers, cleft lip and palate, and deformed legs. He had his legs amputated above the knee at the age of five, and now as a 20 year-old he's already a two-time gold medal winner in swimming at the Paralympics. BUT he's not just a swimmer, he can run faster than most reasonably trained runners with normal legs, he can cycle all day, and he's got his sights set on completing Ironman Hawaii this coming fall. If successful he'll be the first double-amputee to complete the event on a standard bike (as opposed to the wheelchair division). As a six-time Ironman finisher, having heard him talk about his training and knowing about his coaching I have no doubt he can do it!
Take heed to yourself lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither you go, lest it become a snare in the midst of you.

Reminds me of Oggy, a skateboarder who goes in the big european competitions, up against the worlds best pros, and even wins best trick events. He doesnt have any legs at all, he relies entirely on his hands to do skateboard tricks. Its quite shocking at first, watching him, especially after seeing those tricks done by two leggeds a million zillion times. He also proves that skateboarding cannot be defined as riding a wheeled board using only the legs and feet. We have to drop the legs and feet. So an extreme disability is, especially an enforced one, is a way to certain victory, as its overcoming puts all other contenders to shame. We find ourselves in a similar position. Worth pondering.

Free Truth

Definitely inspirational. His videos struck my emotions when i first saw him too.

He must have many people that care for him.
if Nick would have been born in a number of other countries, say somewhere in Africa, he probably wouldn't have survived long.
