It's high noon for the high holidays.

Fearing jihadists will attack synagogues during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, a group of badass rabbis has developed a program to turn your average shul-goer into a lean, mean fighting machine.

The group, which calls itself the International Security Coalition of Clergy, was founded by Rabbi Gary Moscowitz, who boasts a black belt in karate, teaches martial arts and was an NYPD cop for nine years.

He's teaching others basic and advanced fighting moves -- how to take down a terrorist by the neck, how to use a table as cover from gunfire and how to execute a nifty running somersault while drawing a gun -- that he says can be used by Jews if they're attacked by terrorists during prayer.

"Jews are not like Christians," Moscowitz said. "If I turn my cheek, I'm coming around to make a kick."

Moscowitz said he doesn't think Muslims in general are a threat, but "extremist groups are."

"We're just worried about the safety of the houses of worship that are being threatened with rhetoric on regular basis and extremism," the 52-year- old rabbi said.

Moscowitz said few people took him seriously until May, when the FBI busted homegrown Muslim terrorists for allegedly plotting to blow up synagogues in The Bronx.

Since then, he said, his phone has been ringing off the hook and he created a 100-hour course for synagogue self-defense.

Moscowitz said NYPD officers aren't qualified to guard synagogues because they don't know members of the congregation.

"A terrorist could put a yarmulke on, say, 'Happy holidays,' and blow the place up," he said.

NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said the rabbi had been fired in the early 1990s from the force, but didn't know details. Asked about Moscowitz's criticism of the NYPD, Browne opted for a biblical-like statement.

"Blessed are the tight of lip," he said, "for they shall resist speaking ill of the ill-informed."

But just last year there was another report of a Jewish militia group who had hoped to work with The Department of Homeland Security. Representatives from the ADL, who normally are anti-militia and anti-second amendment, played down these Jewish extremists.

A Jewish paramilitary group with Brooklyn roots is giving its members weapons training with the goal of keeping New York and America safe from terrorists.

About 15 members of Kitat Konenut New York attended an "Israeli Military Training Camp" in the Catskills earlier this month.

The men got instruction in close-quarter combat, handling rifles and pistols, identifying suspicious objects and confronting terrorists, co-founder Scott Brown told the Daily News. The group's Facebook page has a photo of young men wielding rifles in front of an Israeli flag, while its MySpace page blared: "Keeping Jews safe, when no one else will!"

Brown said the organization - whose name means "preparedness team" in Hebrew - wants to work as an adjunct to Homeland Security and the NYPD.

"Homeland Security has admitted they don't have enough resources to be out there on the streets all the time," said Brown, who lives in Borough Park.

"My goal is for hopefully one person on every block to be trained to watch his own house and family, his own block."

But Jewish leaders and police didn't sound too keen on the idea. "I think it's unnecessary," said Marc Stern, general counsel of the American Jewish Congress. "Most of us are happy to call police....It's little boys who have never grown up."

Joel Levy, the New York regional director of the Anti-Defamation League, said Kitat Konenut's agenda is best left to the police."That's where I think these kinds of security issues should be addressed," he said.

The Police Department was equally dismissive.

"The NYPD does not encourage or cooperate with paramilitary groups," NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. "Certainly not ones who arm or intend to arm its members."

Browne, 44, said members are from as far away as Los Angeles. They received training from three Israeli military vets at the training camp from July 27 to Aug. 5.

He rejected comparisons to the Jewish Defense League, the militant organization founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane. "As soon as you mention the word Jew and gun in the same sentence everyone thinks JDL," Brown said. "It's not that at all. We're trying to aid Homeland Security."

I thought reading the Talmud put one in an "Extremist" group?

I guess they know that Americans are getting sick of their scams so they want to be prepared for a backlash.
"They hate us because we are Jewish" -- No, they hate you because you believe in the stupid Babylonian Talmud that praises Jew Scams and Ripoffs.
Arm up all you want Jews, but as long as you read the Talmud and encourage immorality-- you are the "Extremists".

The curtain between US government support of the Scammer Jews (Wallstreet Bailout-Ripoffs) and their militancy is getting pulled down as the false "threats" increase.

IF I was president of the USA, I would burn the Talmud on National Television and then machinegun the "G*d D*mned" thing.
