'impartial' RefComm Chairman promotes Treaty

Every Friday this month, the ostensibly impartial Chairman of the Referendum Commission, ex-Justice Frank Clarke, has been answering listeners' questions about the Lisbon Treaty on RTE radio's 'Morning Ireland' programme   http://www.rte.ie/news/morningireland/

I have heard him consistently denigrate and belittle the 'No' side arguements, today's performance being particularly blatant: according to him, all will be sweetness and light after Lisbon; he has refuted virtually all the 13 reasons to say 'No' laid out by Anthony Coughlan  http://www.teameurope.info/node/554 and even criticised the Crotty case that led to Ireland getting the right to hold a referendum on Lisbon;

far from impartial, I find this pro-Lisbon government's appointee biased in the extreme and urge Anthony Coughlan to demand an open, on-air debate with him to, once and for all, end all the lies and deception being perpetrated on the Irish public

anyone can submit a question to the 'Morning Ireland' show to be answered by Clarke, before the deadline of next Friday 25 September
