I'm not familiar with anything he's said in public about the Lisbon Treaty (EU Constitution) to date, but I would like to know what media channels have been open to him to express his dissent. If he's already voiced dissent publicly, did the controlled media stop giving him a platform? Has he been pressured by anyone?

Also, how does a music celebrity go about deciding to use his fame to voice opinions? Where is that line crossed? What is the internal struggle like (by that I mean that all but the biggest egotists still think of themselves as regular folks, so how do they justify to themselves using the platform available to them that they know isn't accessible to most people?)

What does he think of Bono Vox and his lefty shilling?

Speaking of Bono, if that plump midget would use his current tour to just publicly say a few things about the evils of the E.U. and why Ireland should vote Lisbon down he could kill it single-handedly. But he's a Pope ring-kissing egomaniac. Man, I miss the ugly lad in the moldy leather jacket singing "Gloria" on that barge.

Although I haven't heard any of the Corrs' music I know they're big, and I'm looking forward to Noel's interview. TIU goes bigtime!

HOORAY!
at last, we have another chance to get our message out into mainstream airwaves, if only Jim will remain well-researched on his facts and consistent in his presentation so our enemies cannot shoot our arguements down, we may yet have some genuine, popular Irish and international cultural celebrity to puncture the inflated ego of self-promoting, disseminator of ersatz environmentalist ravings and zionist lackey, Bono

He wouldn't though. For a start The Edge (Dave Evans) is one of the celebrity mouthpieces of the Yes campaign as far as I know. Secondly, Mr Hewson doesn't really promote anything other than himself.

He's a talented musician as are the rest of the family.  And he's from the wee county :)
"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as \'international bankers.\' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen, seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection."

Aw, what a buzz kill. The only interesting thing left about U2 is The Edge's playing. Bono goes on and on about his narcissism while Mr. Evans fills in the space with his shimmering beams and cutting shards of sonic light.

I'm mature enough to separate the man from the music (Miles Davis, anyone?), but it still hurts to learn.

FUCK THE EDGE
FUCK LISBON

Great interview...this guy knows his stuff. I didn't even know who he was but he is obviously well known and around the world for that matter (after a simple search). Great job landing this interview. This should make some noise! Hell I may even have to buy one of his CDs!
