The Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) says the swine flu vaccine they've purchased from Glaxo-Smith-Kline (GSK) and Novartis should be licensed for distribution by October;
HSE's Head of Immunisation, Dr Brenda Corcoran, has said that until they come on stream, vulnerable people such as those over 65 and those with underlying respiratory problems, as well as health care workers, indeed, everyone should get the seasonal flu vaccine; when it becomes available, they should also get the swine flu vaccine.
