The Need to Hear

To put it succinctly, my vision is declining and there's not much I can do about it [diabetic retinopathy].  Which means that whenever possible I choose audio books over print [and hard copy over ebooks].  Beggars not being able to be choosers, though, I take what I can get.

As I turn in my quest for knowledge toward truer paths, I'm looking for new things to hear.

TiU Radio, TFC, Lindsey's new show and most recently Michael Collins Piper are on my listening list.  Are there other radio shows I'm overlooking, especially content-heavy ones?  I'm looking for new knowledge, not something focused upon how bad Alex Jones, Alan Watt, [insert name here], et al are.

I'm also particularly interested in audio books... ones that are [to be blunt] free online or available in the bit torrent 'verse.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

It is so sad to say that you have pretty much listed all the valid shows. :(

Here is the Audio Book section of my tracker, I hope it helps. http://tracker.umunu.com/torrents.php?cat=16

Also, the Audio Book section of The Pirate Bay. http://thepiratebay.org/browse/102

Finally, here is a website that explains how to find Audio Books. http://filesharefreak.com/2007/12/12/fi ... udiobooks/

I suddenly feel like that little kid in the Coke commercial from back in the '70s. saying:
"Wow! Thanks, Mean Joe!!
 :lol:

Seriously, thank you very much for all the suggestions.  I should also mention the modesty and restraint requisite to not recommend your own show.

There's a name that's been knocking around in my memory as an anti-Zionist of some stripe -- Eric Huffschmidt [sp?].  Is that guy any good, and if so, does he do radio?

Thanks again.

Hey! Are you trying to ruin my reputation?! :lol:

No problem, you will find out that TiUers are a helpful bunch, this is a Research Forum.

Funny that you should mention him, this week's JBCS takes up Huffy. :D

sublumen, I'd recommend the podcasts of Mark Glenn, well worth checking out if you have not done so already.

@joeblow

THIS week's JBCS??  The most recent one I see on your user page at TPB is from the 22nd.  Is there a more recent one available?

@VoltaXebec

Thanks for the heads-up re The Ugly Truth.  I suppose I could say that I had found that show and then lost it.  I just checked my "conspiracy" mega folder and found that I had downloaded the podcast from Jan. 1st, but I'm pretty sure I never got around to giving it a listen.

Would you recommend starting with that one and working my way through to more recent shows, or pick something fresher?

That one you have with guest Lindsey is good, personally I would give the Mark Weber and Kevin Barret interviews a miss but it's up to you.
