Is Bruce Springsteen Jewish?

No, much to our regret, Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, the "Boss" is not a Jew.

He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and spent his childhood in Freehold. His father was Douglas Frederick Springsteen, of Dutch and Irish ancestry. His mother was Adele Ann Zerilli of Italian ancestry.



Springsteen was raised a Roman Catholic. He attended the St. Rose of Lima parochial school in Freehold. Some of his music reflects a deep Catholic ethos and traditional Irish-Catholic hymns.

Springsteen is the featured talent for the 2009 Superbowl half-time  show.

    That is a terrible revelation. My wife and I, we played the songs of The Boss all throughout our wedding as we thought he was one of the Chosen People. As our relationship has deteriorated over the past few months, I know have no doubt that this misrepresentation by The Boss is the cause. Max Weinberg is also guilty of lying.  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Thanks, I verified that awhile back too.

I have heard people say that David Letterman is to but I haven't found any proof. Same goes for Robert Deniro, Bruce Willis, Brendan Fraser, Eric Bana and many many, others.

If I don't have any proof I won't say that it's so.

Unless he converted, Letterman's not Jewish. He's german & presbyterian. A guy I used to be good with knows his family. Deniro's a heavy Italian Catholic. Eric Bana is Catholic & Croatian. Fraser/Willis... no idea.

I have it on good authority that his aunt's chiropodist's sister's 2nd husband is Jewish. So there you have it he's definitely a crypto.

Hey, I'm still looking for that "hidden" Kippah photo!  I know it's out there somewhere...  :)
