I've been repeatedly blown away by the cogent research The Information Underground has posted and consider it a privilege to become a member of the forum (even though some of the things I've learned as a guest here have me thinking membership could be a bit of a virtual suicide).  I'm really not sure how I stand to contribute, but the frequency that I've come to scan the site and the desire I have to search it more thoroughly compel me to sign up.  Plus I like to think that my conscience actually works and is capable of taking a stand with courageous people.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest amidst a liberal non-religious social order, but my spiritual seeking led me into Christianity where I formulated naive impressions of Israel.  By the time I was in my late 20's I'd gotten wise to Christianity and was backpack travelling through S.E. Asia and arrived on an island beach for an extended stay where it happened there was a large and diverse contingent of Israelis abroad that had congregated.  Something clicked between me and half the group Israelis such that I ended up hanging out with them for much of the month.  Half the Israelis exuded a dark militaristic attitude, but the other half exuded lively intellectual openness making for easygoing new friendship.  My  experience amid these starkly contrasting Israeli nationals left some long hanging questions with me that TIU has helped answer.

I followed up that visit with Israelis abroad by going to Israel.  I still had some residual starry-eyed Christian expectations I wanted to explore and I was eager to gain better understanding of this glaring dichotomy between these highly intelligent and primitively constricted Israeli's I encountered.  I got to tour the holy sites, watch Israeli soldiers beating up Palestinians, and struggle to find my way around amidst constant rebuff from Jewish locals (worse than the French).  Ultimately my visit to Israel left me really confused at how Jews supposedly had some god ordained right to the land, and worried at the implications for the holy land under the current people dominating.

Cut to twenty years later and The Information Underground is helping me to make sense of some longstanding confusion, and gain clarity about current psychoses infecting the world today.  Thanks for the opportunity to review and participate in the discussions!

Thanks for welcoming perhaps a naive outsider and well hopefully I'm not coming from too far afield of the scope of interests driving this forum, but I'll strive to keep my noise to a minimum while exercising the opportunity TIU provides for performing personal anti-virus cleanup of all the Zionist bugs and trojans infecting consciousness.
