WATER  Gear:

I'm not going to detail why SAFE water is ultra important or what makes it safe or not. Lots of info out there explaining it.

>> Without CLEAN SAFE WATER in abundance your finished, period. Its not a pleasant way to go either. Why do you think these Zionist pricks are exerting so much control of water resource???????   Fight back, prepare yourself with the proper gear NOW.

Only going to detail the gear you NEED based on very basic ultimate survival. What I'm recommending is the best quality for your money based on my own an others direct experience.

Its going to cost you some money and I'm not going to apologize for that. Sell your unneeded flat-screen tv if you have to.

> Realize water is #2 on my list of "8 elements of Survival" posted in another thread. Shelter/Clothing covers a bit more area and want to get you started NOW so lets get going.....

----------------------------------------------------
**** DOULTON GSS2, 3, or 4.
http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/portable_systems.htm

If you can only own ONE water filter it must be rugged, portable, gravity fed, cleanable filters , large enough capacity to be of realistic use, proper replaceable filters and little to no moving parts. By far the best choice fitting this bill for the dollar is the DOULTON GSS2-3 or 4.  > use it DAILY, don't just stick it in your closet.

- it has holes for 2,3 or 4 filters (depending on model) and plugs to fill the other holes allowing one filter if thats all you need
- the stainless steel canisters are very rugged and easy to clean (although I'd find a way to make it less reflective)
- by FAR the weakest link in gravity fed filters is the spigot. They are cheap so get a couple. Heck if you lose it fashion a wood stick to plug, not ideal but.....
- you MUST MUST MUST purchase extra filters - no need to explain this
- NEVER EVER allow the filter elements to freeze or they will crack. Remove em and place in pocket close to body to keep warm if need be. Figure out a solution... never freeze
- filters are easy to clean with a scrub pad or a little sand for that matter
- get the 2x7" Super  Steraysl filters NOT the 9".  (7" have much better "head pressure" and are more efficient)
http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/cera ... tm#gravity

>> if you have to run out your door this is THE filter you want under your arm.

NOTE:  stay away from the ever popular Berkey filters promoted on so many alternative media sites. Convinced this is a scam. The metal canisters are just fine but the filters are NO GOOD because they do not have a ceramic inner and outer shell. For proof, go into the FIELD, not your kitchen, and fill it with sludgy water. It will clog badly and CANNOT be cleaned to work again. < gee, wonder if a Jew owns this company ??
-----------------------------------------

**** Doulton GSS-Mini-A
http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/portable_systems.htm

- one of the best backpack sized filters. Stainless steel 1 ltr. canister
- uses same 7" Super Steraysl filter as the above GSS2,3 or 4
- no moving parts
----------------------------------------

**** Katadyn POCKET FILTER
http://www.katadyn.com/usen/katadyn-pro ... ocket-usa/

- if you must carry a pump filter NOTHING touches the Katadyn POCKET. Rugged with very high capacity for a pump
- don't forget spare filters
http://www.katadyn.com/usen/katadyn-pro ... et-filter/

-------------------------------------------
**** POLAR PURE
http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___81320

If your going to carry chemical purifiers NOTHING beats Polar Pure (crystal iodine) - no shelf life and very high capacity compared to other options. They are not trying to make it illegal for nothing!!
-------------------------------------------
**** Millbank Bag  (very useful item to pre-filter debris and extend life of filter)
- do an ebay search:
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trks ... llbank+bag

- wet bag first, hang from tree above your Doulton water filter if water is full of debris. While waiting to empty collect firewood !

NOTEs:
- the Millbank Bag is to filter DEBRIS or make muddy water clear(er). It alone DOES NOT make water safe.
- they are not always easy to find but well worth the effort. Buy NEW only, not used.
-------------------------------------------
NOTE:

>>> I'm very hesitant to suggest a small filter to place in your shirt pocket because most are fragile, bad specs and low capacity. Also, too often people think they are covered with this selection and thats simply not the case. If you do however want a tiny filter to place in your pocket (I carry one) then please feel free to pm me and I'll offer a few good choices.
--------------------------------------------

**** 1 Quart Military Canteen  (od green)
http://www.canteenshop.com/id31.html

(buy new, not surplus)
- a time proven standby
- Hard or soft version. If can get only one purchase the hard version for durability. The 1 quart is preferred because it will stand on its own (unlike the 2 quart)
--------------------------------------------
**** Stainless Steel Military cup for 1 Quart Canteen
http://www.canteenshop.com/id31.html

(Buy new, not surplus)
- Cheap and rugged and 1 quart military canteen fits in it. You MUST have something to boil water in to purify if need be. (canteen, cup & pouch is a very useful setup  >>> your life depends on this little rig DUMMY CORD it to your belt loop)
----------------------------------------------
**** Pouch for 1 Quart military canteen & cup  (must have it on you !)
- a couple of good examples (don't get cheap versions, spend the extra $5-10)

http://www.tacticalassaultgearstore.com ... pouch.aspx

http://www.canteenshop.com/id31.html
-----------------------------------------------
**** MSR Dromedary bag  (2,4 or 6 ltr, 10 is too big) Water bag for backpack carry
http://cascadedesigns.com/msr/water-tre ... gs/product

Note: I do not like fact the lid is not attached to bag by a dummy cord and therefore easy to lose. Personally I use a specific 5 quart military water bag but cannot find a good commercial source
----------------------------------------------

**** Scepter Military - Water Canisters      - the best choice for vehicle carry (does not rust)
http://www.sceptermilitary.com/water_containers/

- 20 liter is most common, 10 liter are easier to move
- go with earth tone color
- for those concerned about plastic leeching the Scepter Canisters are constructed with an excellent liner
-------------------------------------------------

NOTES:

> a quality steel pot to boil water is essential, I'll cover that under "food gear" eventually

> fire starting gear is also essential for water purification. Will cover this under "fire gear" eventually
