What a great 'show'.

Correction................not a 'show', but an education.  Thanks for putting in the legwork (research).  I believe this is the kind of information that will help us in the war of information.  Allowing people to "hear" history.

What took me by surprise was the broadcast of a gentleman speaking to a fairly large group of people denouncing Rosefelt.

He received an almost unanimous booing.

Who was the speaker and who was his audience???

I'm shocked that even in the 40's, the general population was "dumbed down" as we.  He barely mentions the fault of the Rosenfelt administration and the whole audience comes down on him.

I'm surprised because Tv wasn't like it is today.  Everything about today is so much different than the 40's.

How did our Masters have us so dumbdowned then as well?

John..........could you tell me/us who that was speaking?  And also who was the audience during that speech?

Thanks, Roy

Charles A. Lindbergh

QuoteThe diary show that Lindbergh had considerable compassion for the German Jews. But much more than his public charge, it attacks the "Jewish influence" in bringing war to the United States, particularly as a result of Jewish "control" of "huge part" of the mass media

Understood.

I am still taken back by the response of the people in the audience in light of the facts that were being stated.

Sounds like a bunch of Bush supporters today!  Completely ignorant of the 'facts' but yet completely 'emotional' over the idea of Patriotism.  Much like the way you hear supporters of the war speak today.  So much patriotic fervor, without taking into consideration the facts leading up to the war and the facts surrounding the war.  "Support the Troops" regardless of hearing stories of G.I.'s being electrocuted in showers because of faulty wiring by KBR.  They don't care.  They've managed to equate war with something benign like the Olympics.

Thanks for the links Savage.

Without having to dig around, does anyone know "who" the audience was?  Was it a college campus etc.?  I'm very curious who Linbergh was speaking to.

Charles Lindbergh's speech to the America First Committee on September 11, 1941 (same day as the ground-breaking ceremony for the Pentagon).

"Charles Lindbergh's speech to the America First Committee"

Anyone have an idea of 'who' those people attending would have been?

Sorry if I'm beating a tired horse here, but  I can't seem to wrap my head around this one.

Example................

It would be like a 911 Truth convention where Og is the Host and during his speech, he brings up "facts" regarding Israel's involvement into 9-11.  And then he gets a roaring boo.

But these people are already on the same page that 9-11 was something that was not.

Og presents facts, but yet the audience is still "emotional" over their devotion for Israel.

As an example.

I would assume people attending an "America First" meeting are a little above average intelligence specific to the subject matter.  You then have Linbergh speaking "facts" but yet you still have this emotional non-rational reaction from the crowd.

I think I really don't want to know the answer here.  Because I think the answer that I am denying here is just the simple fact that "humans" in general are an inferior specie.

I don't want to believe it.  I'd hope it was just brainwashing/programming techniques.

Anyway.............what kind of people do you suppose would have been attending these meetings?

Thanks.  And sorry for bringing it up.  I can't tell you how depressing that was to hear.

Hey Roy

first off - don't feel bad - you have made it this far - which means the wheels in the bus go round and round. your brain is working. You are a choosen people, so welcome to the club.

It  is well known that the ADL sent hecklers to many of these patriotic speeches to disrupt. but I was not there so I can't tell you who boo'd.

with propoganda hit pieces like this one, is it any wonder

QuoteIn October 1938, Lindbergh was presented by Goering, on behalf of the Fuehrer, the Service Cross of the German Eagle for his contributions to aviation. News of Nazi persecution of Jews had been filtering out of Germany for some time, and many people were repulsed by the sight of an American hero wearing a Nazi decoration. Lindbergh, by all appearances, considered the medal to be just another commendation. No different than all the others. Many considered this attitude to be naive, at best. Others saw it as an outright acceptance of Nazi policies. Less than a month after the presenting of the medal, the Nazis orchestrated a brutal assault on Jews that came to be known as Kristallnacht, the night of broken glass. Nazis and their sympathizers smashed the windows of Jewish businesses, burned homes and synagogues, and left scores dead. Between 20,000 and 30,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps. The Lindberghs decided to cancel their plans to move to Germany.

That would make sense then.  I feel slightly better.  Thanks for that bit of information.  I can sleep now.
