It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens

Welcome aboard.

Good quote.  Many would argue we are in the positive times echoed in that quote (sheeple), while the rest of us realize we are in some of the worst times ever :(

It is the best of times... is what I said, with good reason.

Why is it the worst times ever? Explain.

It is the worst of time because of what we face ahead in the troublesome future and hard times, while many are unaware and think everything is ok and these are simply the best of times.  What will come after is not an improved system either, so although we could think these are good times because the corrupt system is collapsing, the system that follows is no better as the same vipers will be establishing it as well.

They are interesting times, maybe the most interesting time in history, but it is definitely not the best of times from my perception.  You are entitled to yours ;)  Maybe it is the best of time before the worst of times kicks in?  It all depends on what position and perspective you want to take to assert a best or worst of times.

Dickens was quite pissed off at the Zio-types of his time too. Fagan was a character he knew personally.

Welcome aboard!
After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan
