I am just about ready to give up after attending a tenants' get-together yesterday, Tuesday.

When I arrived at the meeting I had tools along from home in order to repair something in the meeting house but that is me, the Para-Amish, "Hands at work, Hearts in God" guy. After I finished with the work I joined the others who were discussing the refugee crisis so I put in my two cents about how it all goes back to "9/11" and the collapses of the three buildings at the World Trade Center in New York.

The others, eight people about my age, had never heard of Building Seven coming down nor of BBC World TV getting ahead of the script by reporting on the collapse of Building Seven 26 minutes too soon.

Then the topic changed to a model train exhibition that they had seen while in Hamburg, Germany. Model trains at age 60 and 70? That reminded me of when I hit 65 years of age and the pensioners' association wanting me to join so that I could take part in boules tournaments, go on shopping trips and other mindless activities. Apparently we seniors are supposed to become children anew when we retire.

Personally I am just about finished and am ready to join a monastery if only the Swedish State hadn't stolen the one right here in Dalby back in the 1650s and refuses to return it to its rightful owners. Maybe I could join the Buddhist collective about ten kilometers north of Dalby even if Sufism is more to my taste.

Anyway... I am just about finished trying to explain why there suddenly are so many refugees and what the phony War OF Terrorism - not ON Terrorism - on the part of The United States and its lackeys, among them Sweden, is all about.

Depressing but Corky shouldn't make the mistake of thinking all of the sheep are going to face facts.  We only need enough, in enough places, to draw the idiots along.  Old geezers focused on toy trains probably are too comfortable to give a shit, but they are in the minority these days.

I sympathize with Thomas.  It is a spiritual and existential dilemma, and I realize that you, Ognir, have been asking yourself the same sort of question publicly here from time to time.  I know you claim to be atheist, but the truth is sometimes a lonely place without realizing who is there with you watching and knowing, especially when you are a minority of one.  That same feeling pervades the story of Jesus Christ and those who continue to insist on it.
