Lies are starting to unravel...

The evidence keeps piling up that Turkey is an ally of ISIS.

It's known that a major revenue source for ISIS is oil – hence Donald Trump wanting to "bomb the s— out of it." By one estimate, ISIS was able to sell Turkey $800 million worth of oil over an eighth month period.

Then, Turkey shot down a Russian fighter jet near the Syrian border, which led to Putin accusing Turkey of supporting ISIS. Turkey denied the allegations, insisting it was taking precautions to protect Turkish territory.

Well, Putin was right.

On Monday the Armenian news site Asbarez reported:

A commander of the Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) revealed that a mobile phone found with one of the killed ISIL ringleaders proved the Turkish spy agency's support for the terrorist group.

"The mobile phone was found with one of the killed ISIL leaders in the Northern parts of Salahuddin province two days ago," Jabbar al-Ma'mouri told Soumeriya news on Monday.

He said that the mobile set and history files contain messages from the Turkish intelligence agency which show that Ankara supports the ISIL terrorist group through providing security at the points of entry used by ISIL militants from Turkey to Iraq.

"The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny," Ma'mouri said.

Putin was hardly the first to make this accusation. Last month David Phillips of the U.S. State Department stated that "Turkey has blatantly provided material support to ISIL, because they share an ideological connection along with a common foe in Syrian President Bashar Assad."

Obama says Turkey is a "critical ally." Maybe it's time we rethink that relationship.

In relevant remarks on November, Russian Ambassador to France Alexander Orlov said that Turkey has played an "ambiguous" role in the campaign against ISIL while acting as an accomplice to the terrorist group's activities.

Also last month, former US Department of State senior advisor David Phillips said Turkey has blatantly provided material support to the ISIL because they share an ideological connection along with a common foe in Syrian President Bashar Assad.

"Turkey's role has not been ambiguous — it has overtly supported the ISIL," Phillips, currently Director of Columbia University's Peace-building and Rights Program, said. "It has provided logistical support, money, weapons, transport and healthcare to wounded warriors."

Phillips explained that Turkey has been supporting the ISIL to remove Syrian President Bashar Assad from power and because of a "spiritual bond" that exists between Turkey's governing party and the jihadists.

The amazing things they find on these gadgets. Unbelievable.  That's right - U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E.

Yankee Doodle remembers claims that a captured laptop proved that Hugo Chavez was working with the FARC guerrillas in Colombia.

Didn't they find a laptop in Abbottabad when they killed Osama Bin Laden's double?  What a treasure trove.

If they make something up, but say they found it on a laptop or a mobile phone, well...that makes it true, doesn't it?

I don't know if it's true or not but I find it telling that every day you can find new videos on YT that were uploaded by Syrian terror groups and ISIS.... and were filmed that same very day on someone's cell phone. Mobile towers and connections across all these battle zones seem impervious to fighting. I really have no idea where all these mobile networks are connected to and how all these fighters pay for SIM cards.

Think about it... where does Al Nusra or ISIS connect the mobile towers that they control? If it's Syria, why hasn't gov there disconnected them? Do they leave them on so they can spy on them? Or do they connect to Turkey?

Everything's done on smartphones these days. Whoever controls smartphones and their networks controls it all.
