As far as a crystal ball, looking back to when they threw Nixon out and Gerald Ford took over, there was a period of calm.  As Ford said at the time "The long national nightmare is over." 

If we are lucky, that's what will happen now, except that, when Ford took over, the Vietnam war was winding down, and the jews weren't trying to take over the world, YET, which they are, NOW.  So, it's unpredictable, particularly because of Pence's professed love for Israhell, but, I think there will be a period of calm, and then, there will be another election.

Unless Pence gets into a big war, I don't see him being elected as President.  He doesn't look like a guy who ever planned to be President, and, he doesn't look like a con-man like Trump is/was.  Ford was much more likable than Pence, and he almost won, but I don't see Pence winning.  He may not even run:  in 2020, it might be Jeb Bush, against some Democrat.

I can't stress enough that you MUST realize what Trump is.   Not what you THINK he is, but what he IS.  Okay, he killed the TPP, and, Clinton didn't get elected, but, now, that is the only good he will ever do.

I know you don't see it, but, you must realize that that is the trick.
