A man with a criminal record from a previous similar criminal offence was arrested a few days ago for trying to bomb a monument, but the story only just came out yesterday.

Strangely, while the story is being widely covered, it has not been covered by Yahoo, or it's aggregate. Also there are no photos of the individual (is he Jewish?)

Also, I was checking the FBI's twitter feed and there saw that the city of Houston was having a terror drill yesterday while they were posting updates on the arrest.

Criminal Complaint

QuoteA Texas man has been arrested and charged after allegedly trying to plant a bomb on a Confederate statue at a Houston park, authorities said Monday.

Andrew Cecil Schneck, 25, was charged with attempting to maliciously damage or destroy property receiving federal financial assistance, federal prosecutors announced.

And, interesting name "Schneck."

Quotefrench slang, mostly used in Alsace moselle, describing the female genitalia, for it's relation to a snail (schneck, in alsatian)

Here's a thought: maybe it is the name that drove him to it.   :lmao:

Hard to beat this for comedy writing.   :lmao:
