The Ford Motor Company gained quite a positive reputation when it survived the financial crisis a few years ago without taking any bail-out money.  https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ford+didn%27t+take+bailout&atb=v116-4_f&ia=web

Now, with a bidness-man - ain't that funny, Donnie-boy a bidness-man  :lmao: - the Ford Motor Company is in serious financial trouble, thanks to Donnie-boy.

The tension rises at Ford
Dealers wonder: Where's the company headed?

I have read about the Ford layoffs recently.

I also remember reading that Ford will only sell the Mustang and the Focus.  That means they will longer manufacture the Fiesta, Fusion, Taurus.

QuoteThe decision, which Hackett said was due to declining demand and profitability, means Ford will no longer sell the Fusion midsize car, Taurus large car, CMax hybrid compact and Fiesta subcompact in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

I can understand maybe stopping the Fiesta and the Taurus, but the Fusion was a popular fleet car and I've seen a lot of them at least where I live.

Maybe the layoffs have something to do with that.
