Hi people;
               I have been working hard to test an idea for a live, interactive Anti-Zionist Radio show. Something that would allow listeners to fire questions at the host of a radio show via skype. Streamer seems the best so far that I have tried and has some nifty features.

you will need also Winamp player and the dsp plugin to relay the stream to streamer
http://www.shoutcast.com/download
in conjunction with skype you can set a live line in feed for winamp which in turn relays it to streamer and into the p2p ether.
streamer has the nifty little function of having a built in player for the end user/or it can be played directly from a webpage via activeX for those listeners without streamer installed. add to this it has a inbuilt chat channel for all listeners and it reaches a broader mainstream audience, it seems ideal. it even auto generates code for your site so you can integrate it with a simple copy and paste.

i have successfully tested it and will be moving to showcase a deathflag.com radiostation to show you the possibilities of an integrated phbb3+tracker+radio station solution. in conjunction with a few mini-apps one may be able to drop newsflash audios into a folder on a server and be auto added to the scheduler. there is some talk of streamer going java and mobile platform compatible.

Any thoughts?

Ok I've found that streamer has a gatekeeper. i then tried plan B peercast which succeeded after some port fowarding. jetcast can connect to the shoutcast and jetcast network directory yellow pages. a tiu/deathflag  .m3u is being used with the latest tiu shows. peercast then sends it out to pure open source ether. will now look at the cost of buying further bandwidth for wider listeners will see. just want to have a look at the cost plans.
